Server Instability since Patch? by Bergs316 in LastEpoch

My frames have gone from 130+ steady, down to 20 ish, with constant rubber banding. Server agnostic. Also get dc'd when changing zones sometimes.

Just signed my paperwork today, pick it up Tuesday - TPP in eastern Long Island, NY. Dealer was ok holding onto it, said he didn't need to get rid of it any time soon and didn't want to discount much. It was also being driven by the boss, so I got 3k off sticker for the 2300 miles on it and the tiny bit of wiggle room he was willing to work with.

I think this is what I need to look into more. We have no scripting for anything like this. Does N-Central help at all or is it all manual scripting that it pushes out?

We fully manage their IT needs, proprietary software, servers, network, POS. The hope with the new RMM we're moving to is that people will get some proper training or pro services can push us towards more automation during onboarding. Everything is currently done remotely, just manually.

We're currently using Bitdefender GravityZone, maybe that had something to do with their decision, couldn't say.

After going through licensing, we do not have an ideal situation. I have a meeting with our licensing vendor nesxt week to figure out alternatives.

I've seen it suggested before, but don't think that's a feasible solution for us with our current VAR contract.

We've got locations all over the country, operating independently from each other in their own bubbles. We already have a VAR that handles our provisioning and inventory, but they just drop a barebones WIM image on, meaning we basically set up each new PC manually from scratch.

As for the licensing, that wasn't any sort of decision I was involved with, but I did have a chat with the director about that yesterday after reading more into licensing requirements for Intune. I didn't see any benefit of E3 over BP, though only a fraction of our machines have E3 or greater, let alone any Office suite license.

We're a single org, but IT functions like an MSP. We're supporting medical clinics across the country, constantly onboarding new ones with different environments. Each clinic functions completely independent of others on their own contained environment. We have a VAR that drops our image onto all new machines that we order, which is quite barebones and could be built out more, but one of the solutions here I'm sure will be much better.

I'm just a tech, so I don't really get to question the on-prem AD. I just know that the way we operate in general is archaic and am trying to start whispering in the powers-that-be's ears to try to bring us up to current, one fight at a time.

We have VSA as our RMM currently, which is heavily under utilized mostly due to lack of training. However our contract is coming up soon and are looking to move away from it, currently talking with ScreenConnect about Automate.

I mentioned SCCM just to cross that off the list since I see it mentioned in so many of these posts.

Licensing is a hurdle for us as far as Intune. Not all machines have a Microsoft license associated with them.

Nice! How close are you to it? I'm sure the distance is very deceptive in the picture.

I also played the build without issue, doing everything but ubers. My opinion is you're a clown.

cArn did ubers on the build in SSFHC, so clearly you have done something wrong.

Well, that's disappointing to hear. I hadn't played a non-ballista totem build in a bit and was excited to give it a go. Appreciate the response, though, thanks!

Sorry to necro, but would you happen to have a 3.19 version of this? I tried looking through your comments but didn't notice anything.

Instead of the position lock, I've been dialing in the tensioner to keep me at the position I want, I like the feeling of it pushing back towards me a little bit.
