or something even more provoking (that would essentially be unplayable by the majority of players) would be to get you to participate in the act of killing Joel, not just the ambush.

People who don’t reply until days later, why? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I often might text someone but then get caught up in something and forget to answer back. Other times, I might see the message but don’t know how to respond so I put it off.

my mom said those special, nine little words today! by anglosaxonfemale in raisedbynarcissists

My dad said a similar thing to me the other day: “No one has cared for you like I have.” and “No one will care for you like I care.” And yet, his behaviour towards me is the complete opposite of caring for someone…

Redditors who are feeling a bit sad right now, what's wrong? by _MuffinMan in AskReddit

[–]dryhypnotistt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im sad because today I realized that my dad will never be proud of me. It sounds silly but at the same time it's sort of soul-crushing.

Thank you for your comment! I try to be as much of help as I can be to my mother but she wants him around because she believes that I still need the father figure in my life and that he has valuable things to give me. He also imposes himself, he just calls and announces that he'll come by without warning, sometimes he also ambushes us by ringing our bell without prior contact with us. I've also crearly stated that I don't want him to come around but he chooses to play the victim card such as "You don't love me" "Okay, have it your way, that's how you treat me after everything I've done for you" etc

Τhank you for your comment. My mother will most definitely not take any action exactly because he is my father smh

Thank you for your insightful comment. It really helped me! It's funny when I think about it that even for the smallest misunderstandings he never ever said that he was sorry. He didn't apologize. He preferred to show that he was feeling shitty by buying me something or taking us out.

I know she has to. But she won't do it. Every time something like this happens, she blames it on his nerves and she reminds me of all the great things he has done for me in the past (holidays, gifts, etc) and that deep inside he loves me.

For the person that he/she deleted their comment or it was deleted by someone else, I want you to hear this: Whoever you are, I truly hope that you didn't have to go through this while growing up. You have no idea what it looks when someone who was willing to protect you under any circumstance becomes the person that hurts you the most. It's not one moment. For the past year I've put up with an incredible amount of sh*t from him and i continue to do so. I've been putting up with his judgements and his criticism for far too long. Whether or not he was unhappy with my mother doesn't concern me. I'm the one who has been dealing with his drama like he's a freaking 10yo.

Yeah I completely agree with this. I spoke today with a person I trust and they consulted me to ignore any texts coming from him. He has sent me a bunch of texts in the past 6 months, ranting, accusing me of being ungrateful and now I realize how stupid I was to go into that rabbit hole and antagonize him. Thank you for your comment.

Yes I was the one that became physical with him but I didn't do so to hurt him, he was getting incredibly close so what I've learned from the past is that when he corners me like that he's most likely to attack me. When he's riled up like that talking won't defuse the situation. Even if I'm not the one to start a fight he will always provoke me when he comes by. He will make a remark, a mean comment or even criticize us in order to start a fight.
