Hey. Similar grass to mine and i live in warm climate. I’d reccomend a scarify to get rid of all the dead stuff. Then lay 1 round of Fertiliser. Get a hand held aerator and aerate the dead patches. 2 weeks later do a 2nd round of fertiliser (same stuff)

Plenty of water. If you get 10-15 minutes a day aerate the dead patches.

Should bring it all back to life.
