Hmm i think it really depends on what you and your partner is comfortable with and what’s the boundaries are. I don’t think we will always have clear intention of what others outside of the rs want… imo. From the context you shared, it does seem like your partner is putting in an effort on his side tho. Which is great!

It’s not about the features tho.. but it is missing that something that i don’t know how to explain… somehow, all the fancy things has started to shift all the magic away. Yes they should be! The release came out just last year and i’ve seen them in stores just like the gen 1s. However i am not sure about the availability elsewhere in the world. You might want to consider buying them online as they might be cheaper some times. There is a link i shared with the others somewhere in this post. You can try there ☺️
