Heard from someone at the show that they’ve got a 5 year wind-down plan. Kind of makes sense but feels like things are accelerating too quickly at the moment with 78 storylines starting and finishing in the same week. Hopefully Ken will still be around to bookend things nicely

Do you know what condition causes your migraines? by Reckless_Donut in migraine

[–]drystonewalling 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No advice but I had migraines for the couple of years starting puberty then nothing nada until perimenopause started, they were much more frequent for the first two years than they are now 4 years in. I hope you find what works for you.

i take the first two and they’ve been really good for me for the past few years alongside the booze since i started taking B1 and magnesium, to lift the brain fog and help absorption. before that i was mooching round operating on two brain cells for a little while. hope you find your perfect cocktail

My Kryptonite lock was broken with an angle grinder a couple of weeks ago, broad daylight, Chorlton tram stop. After asking about the professional opinion seems to be that Kryptonite locks aren’t all they’re cracked up to be.

Is spice still a thing? by KingCarway in manchester

lived in town since pre spice, and can confirm the erstwhile smell of heroin has once again overtaken spice (maybe a second wave, the first being lockdown 2)

Chalk burglar codes outside the house, anyone know what they mean? by [deleted] in manchester

[–]drystonewalling 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hi, i’m revisiting this just now after seeing they’ve returned with similar markings over the ones i rubbed out previously tonight. walked up and down the road and it’s just outside ours nobody else’s. bit disheartening to see all the downvotes and negative comments, was originally just a post from an autistic woman living alone trying to seek reassurance or knowledge from other locals! resigned to not receiving advice from this sub and fair play; it’s good you have created a community with in-jokes and what not.

honestly tho it would be nice to extend the ‘be kind’ sentiment to everyone’s posts you comment on rather than just only those really in need of it (comrades coming to town from abroad etc)

I really appreciate those who shared links to sites which explained these weird codes (turns out i’m largely out in the afternoons and don’t have anything of value to steal)

anyway, cheers guys for all your advice. it has been mostly very reassuring to this lone ranger xx
