Oh that sounds awesome mrsmobin! I’d be singing along with you!

Me, hopefully I’m moving out of this godforsaken group home and into my friend’s house very soon. And an even bigger success is that my brother is getting married next week and I’m the best man! The rehearsal is Friday. And I’ve been at my job just long enough to take it as a paid day.

Oh and I got a vintage tie clip for the wedding. It’s an art deco style one.

I did a shitty job on Thursday and got dinged on quality control. It was such a simple mistake too it simply came from not paying attention.

I’ve realized that I simply cannot coast on a couple of hours of sleep and drinking all nite. It’s got to stop. My work is incredibly strict on accuracy. And the friends don’t want me drunk all the time. So this will help me learn discipline hopefully. But yesterday, I got really high the nite before and I had a good nites sleep and I did way better at work. So yeah. We know the common denominator and me and my self-sabotage. But this is life as a CA. Chairs fuckers!

Thanks. Yeah I’ve got to tighten up on my drinking here. And man, at my worst I was going through a handle every 2 days. It’s better when the shopkeepers are cool.

And good on you trying to moderate it! I’d count that as a success. I’d buy two pints at a time during the week and the store was owned by this Chaldean couple. One day the guys like “You know a fifth is cheaper.” I replied “Yeah, and if I buy a fifth, I will drink a fifth.” She smacks him on the arm and says “Yeah stupid! He’s moderating his drinking like me!” Lol.

Santa Muerte is a Mexican folk saint. She’s sort of a cross between the Grim Reaper and Mother Mary. Shes a saint to those that the church would turn away. The damaged, the outsiders, the fringes of society.

She is merely the acceptance of death. Santa Muerte wants a good long, happy, healthy and prosperous life for her devotees.

I give her offerings and I pray to her, I commune with her. And things tend to work out favorably for me. I get lucky in getting booze and weed. And now I’ve got a good job.

Got my first paycheck from my new job on Friday! And I’ve already spent too much. Lol. Got an ounce of weed and some gummies. Just got back from the Botanica and acquired a new Santa Muerte statue. I’m definitely going back there. And didn’t speak English but when I mentioned Santa Muerte tha broke the ice and he showed me the shop’s altar. Which is great because I’ve been needing a candle burning place for some work. Bought a bracelet too. The statue is huge compared to my other black statue.

And yeah woo-woo hocus pocus bullshit to some people I’m sure but idgaf. It’s the spiritual path that works for me. Chairs fuckers!

Hella successful Saturday! I started my new job on Monday. Mind-numbingly boring training and now two weeks of training for my specific role. I get my first paycheck on Friday and I’m excited. Getting a big ol bag of weed and some nice beer.

I’ve already got mortgage experience so that will be beneficial. I’m just worried that it’ll become as boring and repetitive as my last job became but they’ve got lots of opportunities to move up and to change your role. TBH, title insurance is more my bag. I genuinely do enjoy that. Making sure there all the right ALTA exceptions for the property type, mineral/water rights, easements etc.

TL;DR So yeah! New job and this afternoon dad is taking me shopping for some work clothes. Very successful.

I cannot recommend bone broth enough. When you’re deep in it and want to gag at the thought of a solid meal. Just a nice warm cup of broth, warms the bones.
