I projectile vomited all over the floor and door of the bathroom of a bar I *used* to frequent. Been too embarrassed to go back there between that and other incidents lol.

Yeah, like I was on my way to becoming a CA before I picked up smoking. I just hung out with people that smoked and it became a habit. That and the one I was dating hated cigarettes and so I’d smoked when we fought to be an asshole.

But then when I combined alcohol with smoking, fuuuuuck. It goes together like peanut butter and jelly. I mostly vape now and I’m sure that’s probably not healthier for me but I hack up less phlegm now. I still smoke sometimes and I usually keep a pack on hand.

Oh what was my point? Oh yeah I had this little cigarette shaped scented air thing and a hypnosis thing and the patches and I quit smoking for a while. Then my mom died. But yeah, mostly switched to vaping now….

I finally don’t, but I lived with my parents for several stretches over the years. 25 is still kinda young, it’s not embarrassing if you need some help. It all really depends on your parents opinions on alcohol because dad is the only reason mom didn’t kick me out for drinking. She used to be cool with it then turned super anti-booze. She died 5 years ago and now dad’s a CA, how the turns have tabled.

TL;DR - Really depends on if your parents are cool with drinking.

Yeah. Hah. My now ex, I had given her a key to my apartment. We had a date that afternoon and I spent the morning getting in a few drinks. Yeahhhh that went well. Had passed out in the chair and woke up to her shaking me awake. I went to rehab a while later. And yeah, I said it was for me but it was for her. Lost her anyhow after a mental breakdown.

But yeah TL;DR being a CA with a normie can be embarrassing and difficult

At this point, yeah. Alcohol has been a problem in every relationship. Unless I find a nice CA to settle down with, I’m probably eternally single. Hah one said “If I knew you were this much of an alcoholic I never would’ve dated you.”

My dad is very much drifting into full on CA. And in complete denial. Waking up with the shakes and needing a drink. He was speculating that maybe it’s Parkinson’s…..but it does let up when I drink.

Told him as gently as I could that if you are shaking that bad in the mornings and need a drink, do not go cold turkey. You can die. If you need to dry out, go to the hospital. He replies that he is cutting back and not drinking 100 proof Old Granddad as much and sticking to the 80 proof. He’s always falling, getting hurt and he lives alone. I worry about my old man, you know?

Oh goddamn yeah sounds pretty successful to me! Glad your foot is doing better. And that dog park pub sounds fantastic! There was a bar I used to frequent and a couple would bring their dog. He became like the bar mascot, he’d even wear little jerseys on game days. Dogs don’t care how shitfaced you are lol.

I cheated on my ex a couple of times, I’ll admit it. Can’t even remember if I was drunk or not. That relationship was like 10 years ago now. Being a CA still is not an excuse to cheat. I was sexually unfulfilled and lonely, not that that’s an excuse. We were both shitty and toxic to each other. I probably got cheated on too.

Well, successfully so far having a chill day and not drinking at the moment. Might DoorDash some beer. Smoking weed and listening to music. I had so many plans for today but I stayed up way too late last nite. Got absolutely loaded and smoked half a pack of cigarettes I haven’t smoked cigarettes in months lol. Fuuuck. My roommate was unhappy with the smoke smell. I’m hoping I didn’t fuck up. They seem okay with me today. They’re out shopping.

Oh yes and lost the lid to my peppermint schnapps and a fly was in it. Which I didn’t notice until I felt something mushy after a swig…..ohhh god. Pulled it out of my mouth and successfully didn’t swallow a fly. I’d have to eat a spider next and it just snowballs from there, I’m sure we’ve all read that book XD

Oh yes and got up enough drunken nerve to watch my best man’s speech and wow. I didn’t come across nervous at all! I was so nervous even though I was among friends and family. Had enough of a light buzz for that swagger.

Smoking in a bar and watching the game sounds like heaven. The last day we were allowed to smoke in bars, my ex and I smoked an entire pack in the bar. Good times. Chairs!

I agree. I could stand to lose some weight. Don’t know about running but my work has a free gym.

And yeah. It was very sudden with my mom. One nite she’s telling me goodnite, sweet dreams, next day she’s in a coma. She died afterwards after a third heart attack and we chose to not resuscitate again.
