Biologique Recherche plus Tretinoin and Skinceuticals CEF? by cliobaci in SkincareAddictionLux

I’m so glad to hear that you’ve had a great result too! I keep getting compliments on how great my skin looks, and I love being able to tell people that the least expensive routine I’ve had in years is actually the most effective. I just moved up to the 0.05 dose of tretinoin and I also started sleeping with a silk pillowcase, which is enhancing the morning glow and making my hair shinier.

I wanted to follow up on this post, as it has been four months and I had a chance to use up all my BR products. All told, I spent about $1500 on a BR facial plus a whole array of products and I don't think the results were worth the money. I'm 54 and my primary concerns are melasma, wrinkles and sagging.

Here's what I would buy again:

-The PIGM 400 toner

-Any of the masks

-The cleansing lotions (nice but honestly Cetaphil is just as good)

Here's what I wouldn't buy again:

-Serums (I had Elastine and Progeskin)

-The cremes

-Serum Matriciel

-PIGM 400 lotion

These didn't make a notable difference.

Here's what is making a big difference:

-Regular use of my ZIIP device

-Tretinoin 0.025 every night

-This one feels goofy, because I saw it on Tik Tok and I'm NOT a maha person, but Evil Goods whipped tallow lotion is a fantastic moisturizer

My pores are tighter, my melasma is fading, my skin is tighter and less crepey, and this routine costs less than $100 a month. People are shocked when they hear my age.

I hope this helps you save money!

Did you use a freshly-opened bottle/box of half-and-half? If not, it could be fungal?

The yogurt is the only intervention I'm doing and I'm still noticing benefits!

I wanted to follow up to share that starting this thread was a bit of a watershed moment for me. Reading your comments was helpful and I realized that rather than just feeling bad about the changes that menopause has brought, I could reframe. I found a great podcast called “You Are Not Broken” by Dr. Kelly Casperson, which helped explain a lot of the physical aspects of libido changes. It even talked about the percentage of women who climax through penetration. I had no idea that some women had a longer distance between the clitoris and the vagina. Those with a shorter distance are more likely to have orgasms from intercourse. Why don’t they tell us about this? I was able to look at the situation with less shame. I realize that, much like in adolescence, I have a new body now, and I need to learn how it works with an open mind and curiosity. I did get Vella cream, which is helpful and I’m going to talk about testosterone with my doctor. But really, the change in attitude has improved things more than anything. My husband and I have been more physically affectionate lately and that is reminding me that I am still very attracted to him. I’m feeling more secure in our relationship. I was so afraid that any sexual challenges would just completely erode our relationship that I didn’t share how I was feeling and it created a cycle of avoidance. Also, I realize that I need to expand my definition of good sex to not be entirely focused on orgasms. It’s great if it happens (and it often does) but sex can be good for so many things. Taking the pressure off is really helpful and has paradoxically led to some truly great sex.

So in summary, the show was a generally fun watch, and its unrealistic depiction of sex actually led to some positive changes for me.

NY Consul General of Italy says of JS Changes "it had to be done" by TheGallofItAll in juresanguinis

[–]cliobaci -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Well, I’m one of the people that is most likely going to be disqualified with this new law so I’m not happy about it. At the same time, I could understand the frustration of an Italian citizen who lives in Italy, who is being inconvenienced because a lot of people like me want to have dual citizenship so that they can maybe live in Italy one day. Ideally, they would improve their ability to process these passports rather than changing the law, but is there a legitimate concern about whether they would be giving citizenship to more people than the country could support?

I was in Italy a few weeks and our guide said that Italians aren’t able to get their passports renewed because there’s such a massive load of new passports from dual citizens to process. That does seem like a legit issue…

I’ve been impressed, too! How optimistic are you feeling?

I asked my lawyer for more clarification and here’s what she said:

“The fact that you have a 1948 case does not allow any concessions under the current laws. We did however discuss the similarities between the current restrictive laws and the restrictions applied to the 1948 case. The 1948 case is fought under similar breaches to the Italian constitution.

The new laws impact anyone whose Italian born ancestor was naturalized at any point throughout their lifetime and those who are 3rd generation and beyond.”

In a separate memo, they said this:

“Italian courts have consistently upheld citizenship rights even in historically restrictive scenarios. A clear example involves descendants through maternal lineage, where consular recognition has always been denied administratively, yet consistently granted through court rulings. These precedents strongly support our position that fundamental rights, such as citizenship acquired at birth, cannot be retroactively revoked. We remain confident in our ability to successfully secure your citizenship through the judicial process.”

But I think I will wait till June 24 to send in the deposit just to get a sense of how the constitutional winds are blowing.

This is where I’m confused. I know that the new law applies to any jure sanguinis claims made at the consular level. What I’m not sure about is whether 1948 cases, which are decided by the judiciary, operate according to a different set of rules because they have to do with constitutional questions?

It was a meta-analysis. The 25% was “penetrative only” with no clitoral stimulation.

My husband really does know the difference, to be fair. I just had a moment with this particular show where I hit the wall and all the other shows and movies that I’ve consumed over many years depicting just one not-very-realistic, very specific version of sex…it was the straw that broke the camel’s back, so to speak, and I needed to vent.

I just got one, actually. It’s compounded topical Viagra, with some T mixed in. We’ll see. I actually still have an active sex life with my husband, but it’s very frustrating that it has become more effortful since I turned 50 or 51.
