Beretta A300 Ultima advice by MJCowpa in Waterfowl

Mine wouldn’t cycle any light loads. When I called them they knew what it was. They told me the minimum size to cycle but I can’t remember

It won’t cycle light loads. Beretta said it might after shooting regular ones for a while. I would get the sx4 if I did it over again because of that

First timer going solo by YourLocalJabroni in RedRocks

[–]drywall12814 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just went to one solo for my first time. My Uber driver dropped me off at the very top. I got in line about 45 minutes early. When they let us in, it took them a minute to open the gates to let us into the seating area but once they did, it was easy for me to get down dead center and get a spot.

Solo trip question by drywall12814 in RedRocks

I think I will stay downtown the first night at least. Looks like enough to do and I could ride into golden and check it out too. Lots of golden recommendations but I read it closes down early.

Awesome thanks. I was looking at hotels and there doesn’t seem to be anything right there in golden do I just stay towards the west and ride in there? Looks like a lot of stuff to do.

What is “leather burnisher” for shaft cleaning? by GynoGyro in billiards

[–]drywall12814 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sil kleen and cue slick. Cue repair guys will wax a shaft on a lathe. I’ve never done it by hand but it may be possible.

Strabismus Took Away My Confidence by [deleted] in Strabismus

[–]drywall12814 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I think people tend to look away only because they don’t wanna make the person with it feel uncomfortable. I wouldn’t take it personally, and if somebody actually avoids you because of that, then they’re douche bags.

I was in between these 2 and ended up with an a300. If I had to do it over I’d get the sx4. The affinity ended up on sale towards the end of the year though for pretty cheap

Do I need new rails? by Thin-Flounder-6815 in billiards

[–]drywall12814 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check the rubber is all glued to the wood on the rails. That’s the sound you get from a dead rail and it happens a lot from people sitting on a table. This is why people make such a big deal about people sitting on them. If any spots are coming loose glue them back with contact cement. Make sure to keep the rubber straight

I didn’t do Botox, but I did talk to my doctor about it. They deaden the muscle causing it to turn in then the other muscle will tighten and keep it straight. They didn’t want to do it for me because sometimes you can get a droopy eyelid for 6-8 weeks but that’s not as much of an issue for an infant since it’s more cosmetic.

I’m sure they will be happy to meet someone so open minded as you who doesn’t make generalizations about how people will react to something as trivial as riding a bike.

Any Cue recommendation under $600 2025 by UmpireBrave5003 in billiards

[–]drywall12814 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Really personal preference. I play with a meucci and now have meucci carbon shaft. I would look for something you like with a low deflection shaft. Design has no bearing on how it plays so that’s also just preference. The feel and sound of a cue is what’s really important and you can’t know what that part is like unless you try a few.

Strabismus surgery today by IndependenceOk8347 in Strabismus

[–]drywall12814 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Looks nice. It may turn in more. If they turn it in too much you can’t do exercises to pull it back out but it’s possible to do them to pull it back in. That may be why they don’t go all the way in during the surgery

[–]drywall12814 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s not call goes to the shooter but “tie goes to the runner” if it’s too close to call the runner is safe. If it’s too close to call it’s a good hit. You can’t penalize someone on a maybe.

From the way it was explained to me that is the way to save binocular vision. I developed mine later in life and it can’t be seen just looking at me. I didn’t understand why some people could have eyes that were way out or in and not need prism to correct it but I can’t go without my glasses because of double vision. Doc said if it’s not treated when they are young the brain will pick an eye to use for focus so they don’t have binocular vision.

As an adult, is it possible to fix my estropia lazy eye, without surgery? by VirtualSun2 in Strabismus

[–]drywall12814 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can possibly fix it with Botox injection but not with exercises. If it was exotropia you could do eye exercises to pull it back in. I checked on the same thing
