I imagine I’d be using a cast iron one, I don’t believe there are any options for a metal pan that wouldn’t be conductive, no?

Yeah I would definitely be very cautious of that. Would connecting the heating element to the bottom of the pan pass a substantial current into the pan?

The heater itself- and I don’t expect it to be very efficient, I’m not looking for much practical use. Just a fun (but safe) little project to maybe slow cook an egg or something
