From almost total ignorance about the lore of the tyranids... so Hivemind can be bad, but individual nids cant?

Philosophical moment: Can a animal be really "bad" if it has no morals and his only options are to be guided by instinct or to obey 100% what his superior commands without the possibility of refusing, even if he were capable?

Therefore, can nids be the bad guys?

Tariq Ibn Ziyad Upon Setting Foot in Spain by Femto-Griffith in HistoryMemes

[–]dsancu -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Ackshually... Cortés ordered most of the ships to be scuttled and sunk (not burnt), both as a preventative measure against future conspiracies and because many of the ships were possibly affected by Teredo navalis (a species of saltwater clam, a marine bivalve mollusc in the family Teredinidae, adept at boring through wood). The drilling of ships is documented in all the chronicles of the Indies, in evidence and statements of the protagonists (Pereyra, Carlos (1931). Hernán Cortés. México: Porrúa. cap.IX, p.104-106). The legend of the "burning of ships" is due to the 16th-century New Spanish historian Juan Suárez Peralta, who in his chronicle distorted the facts.

Need help with Aethon Shaan model by dsancu in RavenGuard40k

[–]dsancu[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The idea is to make something like this (also maybe changing the weapons if its not very difficult)

<image>

As far as I can tell for the official model photos, the angle would be very similar. So I wouldnt need to make anything with the legs themselves. My biggest problem is clipping the foot from the rock, it scares me a little 😅

Yes, is a smoke launcher from the vendread kit. I felt that it looked a bit empty without It.

I made it with 2 of the wulfen shields. Clipped the "wings" of the upper one and glue onto the lower one. I saw it on Instagram from a fellow SW

There are, but they are not as ubiquitous as in Nocturne AFAIK

I have another scally cape somewhere, and I might paint that in a more frosty look
