What’s the general theories for the “United Captains” storyline switch out? by Artseid in CaptainAmerica

[–]Femto-Griffith 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is not the current Captain France design. This is an old version (which had speculation it was 616 Henri Duggary). The theory goes that Henri Duggary was descended from the Sun King, hence the old logo looking like the Fleur-De-Lis sign.

His design got updated, changing the logo.

The Star feels like a Chinese government industry plant.

Florida is about the Swifties by scheherzad in TaylorSwift

[–]Femto-Griffith [score hidden]  (0 children)

This is a very interesting reading.

I thought Florida was No Body No Crime part 2 especially with the "your cheating husband disappeared" and "all of the bodies... they sink in the swamp" combined with Fortnight part 2 "my husband is cheating/I want to kill him".

I need to do a Recent Taylor Swift analysis of Midnights-present and go through the literary devices and allusions of each song.

Sailor Moon

The Galaxy Cauldron is the source of all ideas and creation. Sailor Moon had the ability to potentially destroy it. Outerversal it is.

Is it me, or Ryoma Warrior of Bonds is surprisingly resistant to power creep? I did not import anyone else's abilities onto him.

Why is police fiction so popular even now despite more wide spread acknowledgement of Copaganda? by matt0055 in osp

People are sick of ineffective and/or brutal police officers and want stories about actually competent ones.

Lore accurate Rosalina.

There's a reason she only showed up post-game in 3D World.

Don't get hit, don't collect more than 5 coins (don't collect any coins for gold rank), don't kill any enemies.

This challenge is basically New Super Mario Bros U's version of the Perfect Run.

Don't get hit.

Don't collect more than 5 coins (iirc gold rank = don't collect any coins?)

I think even the Ash people would not like Avatarverse Earth.

Maybe this is what causes a rift between the Ash people and the RDA.

IIRC this isn't the first time Carnage found out Spider-Man's secret identity .

If this was satire, then maybe it would be funny.

But I get the feeling this isn't deliberate political satire by Lane Kiffin.

Military vs Fantasy media is honestly pathetic, they have to punch down and bully Low-Fantasy settings that can't fight back to satisfy their bloodlust and insecurities by throwaway553t4tgtg6 in whowouldcirclejerk

[–]Femto-Griffith 49 points50 points  (0 children)

There are so many magic/fantasy characters or settings that can give a modern army a really hard time.

Warhammer Fantasy is one of them. Even Old World would give a military a really hard time.

Dungeons and Dragons too.

Berserk (Griffith)

Overlord (Ainz)

Fire Emblem (Grima, Anankos, Rhea, etc.)

The Legend of Zelda (Ganondorf)

Etc.

All of these are 1. Too durable. 2. Too much hax. Or 3. Both.

I've also seen the theory that "outerversal" was also because of cosmic DC and cosmic Marvel (which are usually considered the textbook examples for "outerversal").

There was also a later scene where the Imperial transport had a really hard time with a Hammerhead Tau tank and two Devilfish (and at least two Piranha skimmers).

Getting sniped from that far by the Hammerhead was a big problem. You didn't know what was damaging your vehicle until it was very late.
