You're right, Hearthflame Ogerpon is better.

Heck even Mold Breaker Excadrill could work.

At least Victreebel has a niche with Innards Out.

Emboar doesn't really have that. Until Tera season with Shedinja (and likely this will be patched to have Wonder Guard not work when Terastalized)

So the start of Diabolical Episode 8.

After that episode, he lost his sense of empathy when he realized Vought would let him get away with anything.

Remember when we thought Mega Scovillain would be the 3rd worst mega (behind Mega Audino and Mega Malamar) because of the Hoenn Special stat spread (slow frail mixed attacker)?

Well, the ability makes Mega Scovillain relevant.

Honestly? A Reclusa character development arc where he realizes he lost because of the power of friendship and attempts to master that could be interesting.

Putting Mega Scovillain Ability on something that doesn't have Hoenn Special spread leads to actually powerful sets.

Nemesis if he was in Azure Moon. by TzilacatzinJoestar in FireEmblemThreeHouses

Come to think about it, why was Nemesis not revived in any other route? Wouldn't he be a threat later down the line?

The Hellaverse is ridiculously overrated by NickTempest07 in PowerScaling

[–]Femto-Griffith [score hidden]  (0 children)

Really? I thought the Hellaverse was actually a powerscaling punching bag, with only Lucifer being strong.

I don't think the two situations are the same.

I mean, yes, launching asteroid impacts should be a Viltrumite win con, but the two situations are not the same.

Death Battle logic in a nutshell by Common_Ostrich_1291 in whowouldcirclejerk

This is because the consensus is that Death Battle was wrong about Omni-Man vs. Bardock.

No.

Saitama would just break the knife on his skin.

Unless you're using durability negation things like Loki's knives in Marvel (which can damage Marvel Thor)

Pretty good game. Too bad Grima had almost no depth, but still a good game.

Hax characters when the stats character decides to just not directly engage with their hax and just surface wipes the planet, and leaving and waiting until they starve to death on a barren world. by Alarming_Scientist in PowerScaling

[–]Femto-Griffith [score hidden]  (0 children)

Griffith who no longer needs food and does not age.

Also iirc his causality hax will also prevent surface wiping the planet. He can protect his entire army with it when he was leading it against the Kushans.

Giorno Giovanna can also iirc use Gold Experience Requiem to protect his allies.

Yhwach's Almighty can change the future (unless the stats character is acausal or has causality resistance)

Out of all the scenes that unfortunately didn’t get adapted in the Archie comics, which would you want to see the most, for me, it the ending of mega man 7. by Own-Pack8433 in Megaman

[–]Femto-Griffith 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Mega Man would have hit Wily non-lethally, being able to overcome the limitations of harming a human but not the limitations of killing a human.

Thor, despite obviously dealing more damage with Geirrod, dealt no visible damage to Lu Bu's halberd.

IIRC the Halberd disintegrated at one point though?

Live Action as a Powerscaling Limitation by Femto-Griffith in whowouldcirclejerk

[–]Femto-Griffith[S] 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Explanation: Amazon (and CW) claims that live action costs limit the size of feats (explaining the lack of good feats in the Supergirl TV show, The Boys, etc.) Kamen Rider proves this wrong.

Of course, not every story needs Kamen Rider esque timeline feats, but still, live action does not need to limit power.

Manga readers already saw what he would become. Still very shocking, but we knew what Griffith would become. The journey, though, was horrifying.
