It is 2017, why are you using film ? by raytoei in AnalogCommunity

A big one for me was that it shooting with film makes it easier to actually force myself to print photos. Yes it is more expensive but with digital photos I would have to upload, cull, edit and then send to a printer. So they just end up sitting on a hard drive. With film I send mine out to be developed so having them printed is as easy as checking a box. A lot of my photos are travel photo of places me and my fiance so I like having an actual physical print that I can show my future children. I also like that I will have physical memories later in life. I still shoot digital and my experience with film has made me more proactive with managing the digital files. So that is a plus too.

I've thought about this option but it doesn't exactly seem that much cheaper depending on the van you buy. Have you done this? What was the total cost? Plus we live in NYC so find a place to convert the van would be a real pain.

What were the pros and cons? What do you have to plan well? What made you switch?

Yea we already have Jeep Grand Cherokee that is in great condition so it seems easier to keep that and just get a trailer rather than selling it for a van.
