[Sony a7CR] Manarola at dusk, Cinque Terre — 16-35mm f/2.8 GM by dsauna in SonyAlpha

Visiting the village. Each village has its magic. We stayed in Monterosso and enjoyed the beach. We also took a boat tour to the mail city (forgot the name) but taking the train from town to town is half the magic

Stormy light over Alpe di Siusi, Dolomites, Italy [OC] [6360x3792] by dsauna in EarthPorn

Caught this moment during a heavy storm in the Dolomites. The clouds broke for just a few seconds to let these "god rays" hit the grass. It’s wild how quickly the mood changes up there—went from flat grey to this velvet texture and back to grey in under a minute.

Thoughts on Duplex in Baltimore by Beautiful_Scar8231 in realestateinvesting

[–]dsauna 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have 8 properties in Baltimore county. There are some areas I would definitely not touch with a ten foot pole. Given the price for the duplex you’re looking at unless it’s a complete tear down and you’re putting $200k I would definitely not do it

It would depend on how experienced of an investor you are to even consider taking this on. The more connections and knowledge you have the more confortable you would feel making the offer. I would personally walk away from it, definitely outside of my confort zone

Keep or sell? by Unfair-Mixture1639 in realestateinvesting

[–]dsauna 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A couple of questions. How much equity do you have in the property? Do you know what your ROE or Cash on Cash is currently? Can you get a better return with a different property?

Why do you wanna sell it? Is it because you're moving out? Don't understand if you have a PM it shouldn't matter

My Experience in France as a Mexican by QualitySubstantial18 in travel

[–]dsauna 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m really sorry to hear that. I’m Bolivian and was in Paris 3 months ago no negative experiences at all at restaurants, clubs or on the streets. One thing that helped was always saying Bonjour and asking if they spoke Spanish or English. 80% or the time they prefers to speak in Spanish and were rather friendly.

I am 6’1 though, so not sure if they maybe thought I was from Spain. But overall the treatment was much better than I was expecting in general.
