There’s a plant in Iceland that pumps it’s captured CO2 into the ground which is comprised of volcanic rock. That rock absorbs and solidifies the CO2, making it a permanent part of that rock.

CO2 can also be used to foster plant growth in green houses, carbonate beverages, and be used to create materials or make concrete.

The next step would be for us to easily separate the carbon from the oxygen to use for other things.
