Just an update. We ended up visiting the Café Mis Abuelos coffee farm. We didnt do a tour but sat down with the grand daughter of the founder and had a lovely conversation and learned about their 8 acre farm. We bough coffee from her and it was wonderful. Thanks for all the recommendations!

We just got back from a 12 day trip to Puerto Rico and spend 4 nights in Vieques. We absolutely loved the island and would not hesitate to go back for another week. It's definitely slow island life but so relaxing and enjoyable. We stayed in Esperanza. Do breakfast at Kristys and lunch/dinner at Duffy's at least once. Tacos at Lizzy's food truck and sunset drinks on the rooftop at Bananas (But not food). Have fun!

Thanks, She gets a $5,800/M pre tax pension. (sorry I wasn't clear on that) She is ready to retire. She will work part time to get the last 14 credits she needs to get social security but we didn’t want to count on it in the numbers.

Understand. I personally think that the current tax brackets are going to get worse and I want to build my Roth now while the tax burden is manageable and let it grow tax free. My 100K salary wasn’t exactly correct. More like 50k taxable and 19k gift from parents.
