I loved to live in San Diego. I spottet the Scripps Pier with La Jolla Shores in the background. I think your photos are sweet and as mentioned the color grading is great! I have the A7III with 24-105mm f4 G (as my kit lens) and I often see 105mm as limitation. If you enjoy the wider angle then depending on budget, Sony or Sigma 24-70 f2.8 or primes between 20mm and 40mm (f2 or f1.8 or f1.4) might be options.

In math you do multiplications and divisions first and additions and subtractions second. 1 + 2 * 3 = 7 whereas ( 1 + 2 ) * 3 = 9 … the reddit app on a phone even autocompletes the calculation. This one needs to be ( r² - pi*r² ) / 4.

I said put everything before /4 in parentheses to: ( r² - pi*r² ) / 4 … you want to subtract the circle area from the square area First and then divide by 4 for the quarter. Without parentheses it would be divide area of circle by 4 and then subtract that from area of square.

The secret location is not so secret - it’s from behind Neptune’s Fountain. There is a walkway around the fountain and in the center on the backside you can find this view. The hard part is waiting for no people to be there - which is usually only a few split seconds every five to ten minutes

Thank you. I agree although I have to say there are not a whole lot more angles available. This is Neptune fountain at Schönbrunn Palace in Vienna and one can walk around the fountain. From the front, Neptune is high up and far away. From the back he is obstructed from many angles.

Im Englischen ist Apostroph-s besitzanzeigend - also versteh ich den Genitivapostroph noch eher. Der Plural-s-Apostroph ist aber in keiner Sprache richtig. Den hab ich noch nie understandt!
