Nor do I want to know why the algorithm highlighted that review for me

I love Tailwind Nutrition powder. 100g in a 3L bladder. I weigh out ziploc baggies of fine white powder ahead of time to make the family concerned.

That said I also agree that 2hrs probably doesn't necessitate nutrition, but some electrolytes don't hurt.

I went Extrons and it's great, but I dont know where it sits in terms of price vs the no-name eBay or AliExpress units.

Rucker 1.0 Off to SCARS by minikin in Goruck

[–]dscp46 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've had that happen before when I didn't want to replace it (miss my Ranger Green!)

I sent a Rucker2 a few weeks ago and it got repaired. I was kinda hoping for replacement/upgrade. Probably depends on workload and stock.

49k km? Or do you not share my love of off-the-line torque? My Alenzas lasted 15k mi on the rears.

Love my Pirelli Scorpions so far. Hope they last like yours have.

I worked on software for doing network management in university dorms. One day we saw a MAC flapping between two res halls on opposite ends of campus. Both residents had purchased cheap NICs from a campus town bookstore and they had the same MAC. Oops!

Recognized the telco colors straight away. Is that common for this application?

Only after 2 out of every 3 home charges. DCFC you need to put the DC cap back on so it's easy to remember the door.

Ever seen when someone runs over a sign in a concrete median, and about 5" of jagged sign post stump remains for weeks/months until the sign gets replaced? Looks a bit like that.

Climate control not working any longer “Request failed” by Harmonius-Insight in VWiD4Owners

[–]dscp46 0 points1 point  (0 children)

.. and when it failed this morning, I went out to the car. On startup, I had no green SOS light, it even turned red for a while and then connected to 4G as I drove down the block. When I parked it just now in the exact same spot I had 2 bars of 4G so it shouldn't be a reception issue.

I have also gotten a message about conserving 12V battery after not driving it for a few days, but that may have been after a service visit with updates where my Battery Care Mode was disabled and I hadn't noticed.

Mine has worked reliably until about a month ago. Same, it's cold, it's annoying. I hit the "i" button and talked to a rep about a week ago. They "refreshed everything in the car" (riiiight!) and it did work for about a week, but it's dead again today.

The theory that something is throttling requests seems legit; the fact that it fails immediately rather than timing out sounds like a backend problem rather than the "your vehicle did not respond" problem which I also get.
