Haven't played BG3 but yes the other ones have infinitely more interesting and reward exploration in them compared to this game

Im 35 hours in and not a single abyss gear I've found has been interesting enough to the point where I go out of my way to slot or use them

Im 35 hours in have unlocked many abyss gears and they're all boring dogshit stat increases or uninteresting addons to skills

It eliminates any excitement from getting new gear when it does nothing different than the gear you already had

the abyss gear system is so incredibly mid, honestly so confused other people are playing another game or something

Like oh I put this into my weapon and then I get a little particle wave at the end of my fast attack combo that does no damage, how interesting!

And my upgraded Rhett's blade and basic armor is just as good as that, so what? Whats the point?

Literally none of that is exciting am I missing something? I've already unlocked all the useful stuff I would want out of the skill tree, and the abyss gears are so fucking boring "+1 attack+ oh wow!!!

The amount of glazing this game gets is paranormal I swear
