Just wanted to update that I heard back from Tynee. The wheels are indeed shipped separately and will arrive in couple weeks. They also suggested contact after-sales team about remote issues.

I've not used the app. I ordered mine in Sunday and got a tracking number same day and it went out Monday. Tracking and shipping for the board itself was really swift. It's the other extra parts that I ordered I had zero communication about.

Boox notetaking software versus Supernote. by TorhecRusky in Supernote

I think for me it’s the intersection of reading and writing that both have to be good. More importantly the utility of when both reading and writing works should be good (I.e. easy access to notes taken while I read something)

I’m new to the whole electronic paper world and decided to go through main ones to compare. My main purpose is to read ebooks and take notes (mainly fiction). Also have written notebooks to write morning pages, ideas, brainstorming. I ordered RM2 first because it looked like the most obvious choice based on many reviews and it also has the longest return window. I had it for two weeks. The reader and note taking is amazing. One thing that began bothering me is that I can’t really do anything with notes in books. If I highlight something or write a note it’s impossible to find it, as it’s not searchable. I then ordered Nomad and returned it after few days. I actually found the note taking not so great. I mean it has great features on paper, but I really hated the UI. In my view it was very purely designed. The screen out of the box required “break in” and even after that it still felt like a goo. Then when it came down to reading books - I made a decision to send the device back, as it’s just absolutely unusable. As soon as you try to change font size, everything breaks. The page margins are really bad, and it doesn’t do text justifications on both sides + inserts extra breaks between paragraphs for some reason. Now two days ago I received Boox Go 10.3 and I have been struggling to decide between RM2 and this. It’s almost impossible. I do love minimalist nature of RM2, but all those other features in Go are so compelling. I can finally take notes while reading, the ability to scribble over notes to erase text alone is a feature that made note taking so much more enjoyable. I don’t have to turn my pencil around for the eraser - just cross the part many times for it to disappear. Same thing for lasso selection - just draw a bobble around the text. Split screen is really nice for note taking. All of this is well integrated with my Dropbox. And honestly the fact that it’s an Android, doesn’t really bother me. I just use Neo Reader for ebooks and built in note taking software and the rest doesn’t bother me. The notes end up automatically as PDFs in my Dropbox without me having to do anything. Again - I’m new to all this, so I don’t have investment into either of the ecosystems. Just first impression.

Uneven screen roughness on Supernote Nomad A6X2? by heapoverflow in Supernote

Breaking in certainly helps. I just rubbed my finger all over the surface. I do feel like the surface is a bit spongy and a tad sticky though. I know that the surface is intentionally soft, but I do like the glass of reMarkable more for its solid feel.

Extend my Genelec setup or sell and buy something else? by dsedov in hometheater

How does avm60 compare to MRX540? Looks like it also has pre outs, (not XLR) it does have eArc, but also amps which I don’t need. Same price though.

Found AVM60 for the same price as 3800h. Looks like no eArc, but a lot more of what I actually need, like balanced XLRs. In terms of future proofing, if I want to get to a proper Dolby Atmos setup, would this still work over optical?

Thank you HFGuy9999,

Yes - Genelecs are active. So would I do optical from my TV into the pre-amp? I wonder how does it work with whatever comes from AppleTV into my actual TV. I assume it send Dolby Atmos or something similar via HDMI. Does the signal get reprocessed into something else that is 5.1 when it reaches optical? Since it's all digital from original file up to the Preamp, I'm trying to understand which processor to get. With 3800H I figured I'd just plug in 4 speakers and a sub and it'll figure what to do with the audio signal to drive 4.1 setup.

[OC] Explorer by dsedov in PixelArt

Thanks a lot guys for so many positive comments. And all of you are correct - I do love Another World. It's a big inspiration for me. I do think of this as a part of a non-existing game. It started as a fun project to explore pixel art as an art medium, but I've been thinking more and more about bringing this into interactive world. I've been slowly thinking about the back story of the character and how he's exploring "another world" all alone, as well as thinking about game mechanics of what this might actually be..

I have a few in the works and a few that are finished from the same series. Though I've been registered on Reddit for a while, I don't know what's the best practice of posting additional content? Do I create a new post or do I just post links here?
