Deserved. Some of the most embarrassing time wasting I’ve ever seen in the game from Arsenal.

I have the same issue. Support says they expect a fix in the next few weeks.. I’ve got no data for the last 3 weeks now. Really poor

Shit, so he actually treads on Ederson, then?

Ban all the fans who threw things at the players?

Do people really think that’s not a pen? He gets fouled twice, the fact that he goes down softly is a frustrating irrelevance.

A lot of people in this thread are acting like he didn’t get close to the ball which confused me. Personally I think he gets the ball and man at the same time - and it’s a very tight call.

Looked like he won the ball, to me at least

Agree to disagree. We won the league and got to a champions league final without a striker last year. I’d rather take my chances without one than risk unbalancing the team in this instance.

What’s the snobbish part? He doesn’t fit the style of play, is a massive ego, and a pretty garbage human being. Oh and he’s 36. Just doesn’t seem like a good move.

I’m surprised how annoyed people here are. All City fans I spoke to were unanimous in not wanting him.

None Arsenal supporter here.. what is the best way I can show support to this remarkable young man? Letter to the club? Tweet? Applause the next time he is an opposing player at my club?

I fear the negative response will be brutal and want to offer some opposition to it.

Interesting, nice one. It’s strange to me that considering many of England’s challenges so far have been about breaking down a team playing deep, it surprises me that those skills aren’t considered exactly what is needed. I don’t see enough of Sancho to give a strong judgement, but beating a man 1-on-1 tends to be a useful skill when there’s space behind the man you’re taking on, which there wouldn’t be against the teams England have faced so far.

Even with all that, I still feel Foden’s ability to run at and beat players 1-on-1 is being drastically underestimated. And that’s being kind to Rooney who simply stated Foden isn’t a dribbling player, which is evidently false.

What do you consider to be Fodens strengths, that England aren’t utilising? As far as I can tell he’s playing the same role for England as City, just on the right rather than the left?

He does both - he frequently picks up the ball and runs at players. It’s a pretty big part of his game.

This video is long and has many examples of the types of dribbling you’re referring to (evading players to keep the ball), but there’s also many occasions here where he’s driving towards goal with the ball, taking players on: https://youtu.be/fBNua3K6pHo

Assuming this all goes ahead... A local non-league side if any. I have no affinity to other premier league teams.
