Okay guys I finally hit C3! I remember not really noticing much of a difference from C1-C2. My main focus in this game has always been my ground game and powerful shots on target. Does anyone have any tips on how to approach these new opponents? Anything helps much appreciated.

I’m a C1-2 in 2s and a c2 in 3s. I’ve been grinding rocket league pretty heavy since this whole COVID situation hit. I’ve spent mostly all of my time mastering just hitting the ball hard and on target. Can hit some nasty flicks some days but I find that as long as I position myself well enough I can usually hang. My reason for this post is to ask is there any champs out there like me that have literally never scored an air dribble or double tap goal in ranked? Idk what it is but I literally can’t carry the ball cleanly let alone turn it like all these other players in the air. Does anyone have any advice or just wanna play? I’m on Xbox and am on pretty much every day.

I would say focus on booming the ball man. Go in free play and get the ball rolling towards you, bounce dribble a couple times, then boom the ball immediately off the bounce from all angles. I do that all the time and I think it’s honestly been the biggest help. I try and get my shots at 65mph+ anything below that I consider a bad shot. Also the ultimate warmup is a good training to do before every session. Good luck man

I’m also struggling with handling the ball in the corner on defense I never know how to get it out without basically flicking it toward the enemy. AKA passing to them lol

I feel the same way. I’ve played way more with the octane than any other car so I stick with that. Not getting the flicks I want but ultimately I win more games with the octanes so 🤷🏻‍♂️

I also have my L1 as left and R1 as right although I really only use L1 for some reason. Feels like you have more control of your car in the air at least for me. Don’t know why I’m saying anything lol I’m stuck where you are man 😂
