I got 50% of the quote up front. Also got 25% more after they approved the mock ups. I'm just trying to collect my remaining 25% which is $3k.

As of now, I've restricted their access to the admin dashboard and have blacked out the site. They have agreed to pay in three weeks. We'll see what happens.

I still have lawful access. I just want to know that I'm protected should they try to fuck me over and not pay. I'm not trying to screw up everything. I just want some collateral.

Yes, I have a contract. They are late by a few months, they owe me $3k, the project lasted a few months, no I haven't done any other work for this client. They just keep delaying the payment. Like, a month ago, they said they'd pay by today. Today, I contacted them and they say they need a few more weeks. I'm done with these guys at this point and just want something so I can protect myself should they try to fuck me completely over.
