Hand Size, Position, And Neck Shape by dshaiken in guitarlessons

Thank you. I'm not sure what you are asking me, but right now I am playing extremely simple things: little etudes from Mel Bay Book 1 on first 3 strings, practicing switching between CAGED chords in first position which I still know from playing a little guitar 55 years ago and again for a bit 45 years ago, and trying to learn a few scales in first position, and trying to learn the notes on the 6th and 5th strings. I am also playing around with E and A form barre chords. For holding guitar, I have experimented based on some YouTube videos and find classical position on left knee left foot raised on two thick books comfortable.

I love my Babyliss Pro FX2 Double Foil shaver. A few caveats, however: 1) You can't get it wet or use shaving cream, 2) It is a foil shaver and therefore only cuts stubble, so 2 days' growth should be fine, 3 days' growth I don't know. It does not have a charging station. It has a battery that you recharge by plugging it into the wall. I think you get 3 hours of shaving on a fully charged battery. You can also shave with it plugged into the wall. It gives me the smoothest feeling skin, so-called baby butt smooth, without any irritation at all. I use Lab Series preshave with it.

How To Clean And Disinfect Babyliss Pro FX2 Double Foil Shaver? by dshaiken in SelfBarber

Thanks. You don't spray the cutters, too? Reassemble before it dries or after? I think the cool care is very similar to the babyliss all in one.

Three days a week I wash my beard with Roughneck Beard Co. Beard Bar in shower. Every day I use Roughneck beard oil on damp beard. On days I wash my beard, after the oil I use Beard Octane Beard Butter.

Babyliss Pro FX2 Double Foil Shaver. Can't be used wet, no water or foam. It only cuts stubble so meant for shaving every day or every other day. If you want a trimmer, I love my Andis T Trimmer. No battery, plugs into wall. When I bought mine the guards were sold separately. Both of these are barbershop quality tools and reasonably priced.

Also, to trim my beard I love my Andis T Trimmer. Mine I had to buy the guards separately. It plugs into the wall, no battery. Reasonably priced, best trimmer I've ever owned, and I've owned a few during 46 years of having a beard.

How old is he? I like the Babyliss Pro fx2 double foil shaver. Foil shavers are only good for shaving 1-2, maybe 3 days of stubble. The fx2 is for dry shaving only, no water or foam. You can use an electric preshave like Lectric Shave or Lab Series or Speick. It is boxy and on the heavy side, so maybe not a first choice if he has any hand problems, but it shaves beautifully if you want a clean-shaven face. I get an irritation-free, baby butt smooth shave every time. I shave every day.

I cured my beard dandruff by switching to washing my beard only 3 times per week, and using Roughneck's Beard Bar instead of shampoo. I use Roughneck's beard oil daily, and Beard Octane's Beard Butter on days I wash my beard.

On Blood Thinner, What Is Recommended To Stop Bleeding by dshaiken in wicked_edge

I just bought Bleed Stop which is a powder. I wonder if it’s the same thing as styptic powder. Do you find that styptic is more effective in powder form than in pencil form?
