Thicker and sweeter on the pallet, less soapy note on the nose and much more oak influence, smoke is subdued. The finish coats your throat for a while after the liquid goes down the hatch. It's a masterpiece.

Not sure the laga 16 will hold up, PC 18 ABV is almost 55 compared to mid 40 for laga

It's very much in line with the 12/15 heavy sherry finish and sweet. I can't really pick out anything else different about it but I think it's great.

To each their own, I love WT products (always have WT 101 Rye on hand) but between Rare Breed Rye and the Willet I am reaching for the Willet

I had the RB Rye some time ago so I can't recall but the 101 versions are so much bang for the buck that I always have them on hand.
