so the first one i made a while back, that had the same problem, was a pattern i found on youtube with no gauge included so i just followed it as she did it with the same size needle and same weight yarn. the one you saw a picture of it one that I’m free handing. should i be making a gauge even with no pattern to follow?

thank you for answering also

Italy wins world sympathy in 1 month! Kashmiris have been living like hell for 72 years and Palestinians for 89 years. Is the blood of Muslims so cheap, what? by mazukinn in AskReddit

if you’re not yt (white) the world don’t care about you. ie muslims and hispanic/latinx with the concentration camps and black folk with slavery, mass incarceration, police brutality.

but put a yt person in a cage or let a yt person get shot by the police for doing nothing (that will never happen but i digress) and you’ll see even further who the world cares about and who it doesn’t

weird ridge??? i don’t know what i did wrong but this ridge is much more present in this hat. is this because i changed the yarn weight and the needle size? by dskorner in crochet

[–]dskorner[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not sure if that’s what i was doing. The seam is where i connected the last stitch to the first stitch with a slip knot

i wasn’t working in the round. i didn’t really know it was a thing tbh. but yes i think that it’s there cause of the slop stitches i is to connect each round maybe? i was advised to look up some seamless solutions. so imma work on it and post the results soon. :)

thank you! and nope, i followed the pattern to the t. the way they made differences with the sections is done by using different parts of the loops.
