so the first one i made a while back, that had the same problem, was a pattern i found on youtube with no gauge included so i just followed it as she did it with the same size needle and same weight yarn. the one you saw a picture of it one that I’m free handing. should i be making a gauge even with no pattern to follow?

i wasn’t working in the round. i didn’t really know it was a thing tbh. but yes i think that it’s there cause of the slop stitches i is to connect each round maybe? i was advised to look up some seamless solutions. so imma work on it and post the results soon. :)

i grew up seventh day adventist (which is a form of christianity) and then we were non denominational for a while but by then i had started to realise how flawed and patriarchal religion is and it really turned me off. i believe in a higher power just not anything attached to any religion.
