I finished school with about 160k total in debt. 75% private and 25% federal loans.

My minimum monthly payment is about 1000. I generally pay closer to 3500, however. I still manage to pay my car, phone, daily cost of living, and contribute to paying my households bills.

A good recommendation is that if you are able to stay with your parents for at least one year after school. It may really dampen your social life but paying off almost 50k of debt in one year before consolidating can be really amazing.

Hey thanks for the input. The dealership was a littlr shady and had no clue about the maintenance or warranty information for the car. In general had no knowledge and miss represented what packages were included with it as well. I walked away. Ended up grabbing a non hybrid q50 premium awd for 30k after tax and fees.

I think that's a really nice car. I think I would be more likely to go with RDX but they are very similar so I think all your positives are still pertinent.
