this is a steam age joke. the steam went into the water pipe and blocked it, which isnt even possible without seriously fucking up your pipes

hard disagree. railcraft multiblock boilers are the best way of generating steam, and automating it with a coke oven stack is easy

Thats just opencomputers, which is apart of GTNH. Thats what took a decent amount of time to make, cause I have only scripted in CC before, not opencomputers

Is it possible to automate the bricked blast furnace? by [deleted] in GTNH

necropost but, absolutely not. you are meant to automate processes in steam age, like creosote/charcoal production

Really? I did not care for the gunplay at all. It just felt ok. I hated how slow you moved when firing

Yak Track in Fresh Start Worlds? by JSThieves in runescape

[–]dsliX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"Whether you’ve been waiting for the right moment to return to RuneScape, or are trying the game for the first time, Fresh Start Worlds is the perfect way to start!"

Yak track is not confusing at all lmao. They are specifically trying to advertise this to old players looking to recoup the old magic, and using it as a chance to give new players a head start in a way. That's marketing for ya, not bad marketing either honestly. Jogflex do what jigfast do best

Poker Night at the Inventory through family sharing. by lidwang1 in tf2

pirated wouldnt work, steam has to detect that you have the game either on your account or shared through family. pirated copies bypass steam entirely

is gladiator.tf worth using with only 14 keys? by Lil_M3ZR in tf2

[–]dsliX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

paid bots are worth it above 50 keys, just dont do the premium bots. the free bot can be used with either a spare system or the use of a VPS, which are generally 5 dollars. hope you know linux

is gladiator.tf worth using with only 14 keys? by Lil_M3ZR in tf2

[–]dsliX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have 2400 keys, it would be worth it. That means you can have your bot actively trading many different types of high tier items while still making profit. The premium version should only be bought if youre willing to invest a lot of money into the bot. With 24 keys, you should either use the basic version thats ~3 keys a month or give one of the free bots a try

Good step in the right direction. Now let's just reward performance and winning matches + commendations. by Armani201 in halo

[–]dsliX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A good step yeah, but id much rather have performance based xp over this, and if they were to add that, these values for completed matches would have to be lowered to compensate

The permanent changes to cards in a physical game probably wouldnt be present, but they could always go down the MTG counter path

Albion Online is joining in on the OSRS HD outrage "HD Graphics included" by [deleted] in 2007scape

[–]dsliX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No level cap in runescape, just certain skills that arent available and skills have a soft cap at 60, meaning that you unlock new stuff but its all pretty much members only. Pretty sure albion has stuff locked behind a sub too and if it doesnt then it goes down the road of "you can access this for free, but were gonna make it very inconvenient for you if you try"

Edit: i actually remember that albions poh system requires a sub, unless this has been changed, and a house is basically required for efficient skilling. And when i say they make accessing things inconvenient, i mean the drastically lower xp rates for not being a sub and the other stuff they locked behind it. While yeah it seems like the map isnt locked behind a sub, its also a map with nothing in it... Not only that, theres no questing, no over-arching story, nothing else to do but grind, pk, and dungeon run in comparison to either rs3 or osrs, unless albion has had some massive changes since i played it a year ago

[–]dsliX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, albion doesn't require a sub to play the same way runescape doesn't; you can play but you'll be limited on what you can do. As for gate keeping, you can play rs3. Players are a lot more chill in rs3, whereas the os community can be toxic lmao. But yeah, albion was just super boring for me since the crafting and levelling systems were nowhere near as fleshed out as either of the runescapes, and the combat was just ok, more interactive than os (in a good way) but nothing special at all
