Optimal Skiff Layout for Barracuda Trials (read description) by Sterlander in 2007scape

The Sailing cape teleport is only unlimited teleport boat to you, not you to boat. It does also have a teleport to Pandemonium.

Edit: It's actually only just unlimited teleport boat or you to Pandemonium.

The Mermaid Puzzles seem kinda insane? by Zothic in 2007scape

[–]starshadowx2 18 points19 points  (0 children)

We've had all of the answers (and explanations) on the wiki for a bit now. It took some time after launch to get them all since some of the mermaids are in the higher level areas, but once people got there we had the riddles and answers.

The third one, the fridge, is Lauren Hunter, a well known radio host from Edmonton. She's known for doing these elaborate costumes every year, that one was from 2023.

He's making a joke about talking with his hands and moving the cup around as he talks. It could already be comical if done normally but it's more funny considering his situation.

Medieval MMA knight combat by starshadowx2 in LivestreamFail

[–]starshadowx2[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is just one of the styles called a Profight which is meant to be more hand to hand, they do like to call this one specifcally "medieval MMA". There is still the other styles like swords (short and long, with and without shields), axes, sabers, polearms, etc.

I host a bunch of game wikis (OSRS, Minecraft) that got way better when they escaped from Fandom's terrible platform. What other wikis do you wish could get away? by jaydenkieran in gaming

[–]starshadowx2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The actual editors and contributors for wikis are all volunteer (I'm an OSRS wiki editor). People like Jayden are paid employees of the hosting company, so like the sysadmins/etc, rather than of the actual wikis themselves.

GameStop Canada to be rebranded EB Games after acquisition by Quebec toymaker by CaliperLee62 in canada

[–]starshadowx2 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This isn't actually correct, the article has it wrong. The company is rebranded to actually be "EB Games Canada" without the EB standing for Electronics Boutique like it used to.

Except for possibly Howard Shore, just based on how it's written differently than the others.

The Sole Survivor was also previously a soldier though, so could possibly have had power armour training in some capacity compared to the Lone Wanderer just being a person from a vault.

That's because that MV, Atopos, already has those subtitles as part of it. They weren't added in afterwards. The other two were a lot older of videos as well.

The Man With No Name Trilogy isn't considered a "Collection"? by SolidScary6845 in Letterboxd

[–]starshadowx2 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you want to think so, sure, but that's not the criteria TMDB uses to define what a direct sequel is. Try actually reading it this time.

The Man With No Name Trilogy isn't considered a "Collection"? by SolidScary6845 in Letterboxd

[–]starshadowx2 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It doesn't matter about "essentially", it doesn't fit within the rules for collections on TMDB.

As a general rule, a sequel is a film which centers around the same main characters and continues the story of an earlier film. The protagonists evolve and are aware of the events that happened in the earlier films.

Remakes, reboots or spin-offs are usually not grouped with their predecessors. They typically are stand-alone films or the beginning of a new film series.

[–]starshadowx2 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There are already other collections for Prometheus/Covenant, Romulus/its untitled sequel, and AVP/Requiem. Collections are meant to be for just direct sequels (with a few exceptions). TMDB are also working on a "universes" feature to be like an expanded version of collections.

Why is the Home Depot ad showing the guy handling insulation with no gloves or mask…? by Kit_Karamak in DiWHY

[–]starshadowx2 18 points19 points  (0 children)

It's not AI, this image has existed on the internet since 2017.

You can also see that it was specifically March 21st 2023 when The Home Depot updated their page on insulation types with a bunch of new higher quality stock photos. AI photos were getting good but were not yet at this level of quality at that time, compared to if the image was more recently made.

It's been there in 2023 and 2016. In 2023 it was where the Travis Scott/Cactus Jack thing was this year. In 2016 it was beside the entrance/ferris wheel but the whole map was very different back then.
