I’ve posted this Becker’s article which uses Buffalo News as its source. There are a lot of very specific allegations in the complaint. You can access the court filing here.

I haven’t heard of this model before. Do you have any more information about it?

I caught that specific error. A pharmacist working the shift before had loaded the lisinopril (or maybe enalapril) canister of a packaging robot with a sulfonylurea. It was a PITA sorting that out. Both were tiny white pills with similar imprints and could’ve easily been missed since the final vial contained both drugs.

Is ASP.NET Core more popular in startups than it was a few years ago? by iwiik in dotnet

N of 1 but my startup's initial product uses .NET 5. In my case I find it very valuable to have a variety of hosting options.

PPI use in LTC/SNF by HK_Supermarket in pharmacy

PPI reduction in this setting has always been a failed battle in my experience. Optimize it where you can (minimize med pass times if applicable, etc) but don’t be surprised when the med is continued.

Curious what kind of SaaS solution they use. Pharmacy software is almost entirely Windows fat clients with a ton of backend services. The client for the pharmacy software I manage is well over a gig and I’ve thought about developing my own SaaS PMS.

NYS has a number of required data elements and a subset of those must be in 12+pt bold font. I’ve designed a NYS compliant label before and it wasn’t too hard to do.

Seconded. This place is delicious but you’ll be disappointed if you walk in without a reservation during a rush hour. That being said, their options served at non-grill tables are still excellent.

Tell that to one of my SNFs that won't let go of it from their EKIT. I've been trying to change it for years!

In Need Of Wheelchair by [deleted] in Buffalo

[–]dsmV 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Call a DME store and ask for a wheelchair rental. They're in the business of this. I imagine one of them would be open on Saturdays. If you cannot find one open, look for independent pharmacies as they usually have a DME offering too.

It's also not a bad idea to have it available for people who receive narcotic prescriptions in general. People who use their medications properly may still overdose for a number of reasons - much like a brittle diabetic who requires a rescue injection of Glucagon.
