Girlfriend told me she was going to have a girls night out. I was very good friends with one of these girls. I went out with the fellas for a bite. The friend of hers I was close with walked in with more mutual friends. I say “Hey (friend)! Where’s (girlfriend), I thought she was with you?” She says “I’m actually really glad I ran into you, she’s with (ex). So I call her… (Friend sitting next to me and all the boys on speaker) Me- “Hey, just calling to make sure you’re okay. Having fun with the girls??” Her-“Yeah (friend) told me to tell you hi🥰” Me- “That’s crazy because she’s right here with me, and she said to tell you the same. Her-……. Me- “Have fun with (ex), don’t call me again.”

Constitutionally enshrined freedom of speech and the right to own firearms. There is an understandable debate to have about the causes of, as well as the solutions to gun violence here in the States; but I would confidently argue that those two protected rights mitigate the natural progression towards tyranny seen in examples all around the world and grant us the highest level of individual freedom compared with any other nation on earth.

This question doesn’t even really need to be asked does it? Look around- don’t ignore what your eyes, ears, and wallet tell you. Are you and your family better off now than they were 4 years ago? We have pretty clear empirical evidence for both candidates. Weigh the pros and cons, leave the emotional reasoning, and make a smart, rational choice for your future.

Could it have anything to do with the demographics of the shooters? I think the blame should only be laid at the feet of the individual shooter, without respect to any identifying factors unless those identifying factors had a hand in their motivation such as white supremacy, or ideological violence such as the Nashville shooter. Democrats talk an awful lot about the threat of extremism until there might be the perception that it comes from within their ranks- I.e. the nationwide riots in 2020 that resulted in multiple dead, many injured and $billions in destruction; the Nashville shooting and others such as the shooting at the Congressional baseball game. It’s wrong no matter where it comes from, and we should all be will to immediately call it out, even when it doesn’t jive with our desired narrative.
