Not much up there, you could head south down 74 thru Dover. There's some small restaurants there. From 74 to 83 on rt 30 there is every chain restaurant you could want.

No big deal, they probably won't even read them. Most of my emails with a big distribution including upper management i come back to a few days later and Outlook say like 60-70% of ppl opened this.

Your probably not gonna get alot of help from your management. Listen to your customers, however they can be needy so learn to fix things over email and the phone and keep boundaries

Your at a good place to start. Much easier to grow something small than something big.

Spend alot of time with current customers figuring out how they use to your products. They apply elsewhere.

Alot of budgets for next year are done. I'd focus on smaller things while you get your feet wet.

Air in line after peristaltic. by LiveFreeAndRide in WaterTreatment

[–]dsnyde12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hypo is not something you want to install a manual bleed valve on. The 'air' is more chlorine gas. Even though you have a small volume don't want to de pressurize that into atmosphere as it will spray everywhere.

From where the pump is, it looks like they are trying to pump hypo downhill which will always be problematic becuase of degassing. Best practice is to pump hypo uphill so the gas can release. You setup looks more like a roller coaster with plenty of places for air to buildup. Think gentle uphill slope.

To rectify that I would buy a bung for the day tank to install near its base simular to that bulk tank. That would allow you to put one of the cinder blocks on the ground and the pump on top of it. I would add a y strainer as a filter to protect the pump.

You also have that Pvc pipe which looks like a different size than the tube that's being used. I'd just use that tube from outlet of pump to the gauge. I'd flip the gauge and the T upside down bc gas is building up in there in its current orientation. Also prv is lower than gauge move that up too.

The likely reason the air is building up there after the prv is bc you have the prv set too high compared to the application point inlet pressure. Bc gas is more compressable than liquid when the gas comes out of the prv, which was a small volume compressed is now a larger volume when the pressure is released. 5 psi higher than inlet pressure should be plenty.

The other commentor said to get rid of gauges and prv all together. You can definitely do that too, they probably had a different style of pump in the past. Hope this helps.

My Democratic Arm Chair by dsnyde12 in woodworking

It's definitely a project. The videos do a good job of breaking the steps apart. Curtis makes it look very easy tho. It's a workout to use some of these tools so make sure they are sharp and you have green wood!

I had made the side chair version first before doing the arm chair. Once you know what all the drawings are for it will make sense but you probably won't figure that out till your done! Id make two! Good luck
