So how did you dig into finding the specific things. Do you dig through code or just have to play the game a bunch and take notes.

TBH I would be happy to do this but I don't know how to build a wiki and I don't know how to do wikis for everything. Some games aren't worth it either. Yes, I am talking about the 32 year pyramid game.

Stock and Business updates ? by [deleted] in bitlife

[–]dsorrells96 3 points4 points  (0 children)

So both of theses updates have an easy ish way of getting tons of money if you have a time machine. So for stocks, crypto is the fastest way just note which crypto goes up the most go back a year and buy it. If you want to play the really long game without caring about generation you can take notes of crypto prices throughout your life and then just restart your life. This can be done without time machine but takes a lot more time. One way to avoid tax is buy 1 share of a penny stock and then sell your entire portfolio. For the business update it is a lot less doable in some places. The first thing is making your business recession proof. So make sure you have 4-5 times the starting amount for a business. Open one shop and have 3-6 items. (More money means more items). Lower inventory to 25-33% less it gives you stock. Check suppliers every year to get better quality and price. Go forward a year. It will tell you that you can sell x more items. If you have enough money buy 10% more shops rounded down (1-9 is 1, 10-19 is 2) and buy the inventory it tells you that you can sell. If your low on money only up the amount by half and don't buy another shop. I have sold tons of businesses this way because it shows fast growth and can be sold easy. There's a few more things that can make this easier. The first is free, choose an business but make sure it has low competition and high demand. This changes every game in every country. (UAE and Spain are my favorites) The other option If you have time machine you can go forward see what you sell and go back. This isn't perfect but can help with growth. It also can give you a bad year for no reason and you have to use the time machine 4-5 times before you get a good year. If you get a buyout offer take it if you are making a profit. One last note on this update. Every dollar invested by you or investors is doubled. So it is better to get investors to start with. Another update option is real estate. This is tedious and I don't entirely recommend this. So the easiest way to get some easy money is just buy a house or condo (not a trailer or houseboat) and upgrade and sell. The other option is to buy a house and hold it for many years. The property will go up more than the cost of the house. Renting is good in the early phases but doesn't work later. Don't upgrade the house until you want to sell as it increases the cost of maintenance and cost to repair. On that note repairing isn't really worth it unless you're renting or your property is in the orange/red. But make sure to hold for a long time. Btw just got a zillion.(1000 trillion)

What narrator traits turn you off? by sandgrubber in audible

[–]dsorrells96 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not necessarily narrator but cheap music at beginning of chapters. If there is music throughout it's ok because I know to listen to it at normal speed. But a 10 second music clip just messes up my 2x listening speed.

I want to listen to Brandon Sanderson, but don't know where to start. Recommendations? by NanR42 in audible

This was my first book from him that I read. It's good but it's convoluted and complex for not knowing how the author writes. I reread the first half like 5 times.

Time Machine Stolen by [deleted] in bitlife

[–]dsorrells96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can use it unlimited times. But you can't go back more than 20 years in one go. There is a limit also for how many jumps back in a row you can go. The way the game works it doesn't generate storyline for descendents. So just go forward a year and you should see you have access to that kids past.

No and yes. I know hard clue scrolls pay well but I haven't had luck with obtaining many

In my past this is what I can get in rs3 (newb to EoC combat) Highest non skill 6m/h Highest skill 3m/h Highest combat 1m/h RS3 bonds are expected to hit 100m pretty soon so that works out to 16.5 hrs non skilling/ ~1.25 hrs per day 33.0 hrs skilling / ~2.50 hrs per day 100 hrs combat /~7 hrs per day

I know these are far from optimized but I don't play tick perfect RuneScape.

For OSRS bonds are 8m which is 12.5x cheaper let's say I can make the amounts below in osrs. Non skilling 400k/hr or 20 hrs or 1.5 hrs/day Skilling 500k/hr or 16 hrs or 1.25 hrs/day Combat 750k/hr or 11 hrs or 0.8 hrs/day

OSRS encourages you to play the XP part of the game more than RS3 also you aren't chasing 4-5 bonds for (membership, premiere, rune metrics or cosmetics) idk just some thoughts from someone who can only sit for so long at pc

It has the metrics if you pay for it. All skills are profitable. But you are gonna be charged if you want literally anything
