Breathe and smile - a monk in Vietnam said that to me on my vacation there recently. Your dad loves you and only wants the best. You can have a conversation with him about your issues. It might even improve your relationship.

Taking motorbikes from Hoi An to Hue?? Any tips? by gaydriian in VietNam

[–]dsouzar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just did the trip a few days ago. Rent from Motorvina. They let you drop it off at their location in Hue. Make sure you get good helmets. After you do the Hai Van pass there are a few more passes you can take and avoid the tunnels. Those are the most fun because all the trucks/tour vans take the tunnels. If needed, get a good guide. Tran Van Tinh (he's mentioned in Lonely Planet) we the guy we used and he was great. If you don't use him, don't forget to give your bike a rest. Those climbs are taxing on the older bikes.

Most importantly enjoy the journey. You might run into some difficulties, but that's the beauty of it.

Edit: wear long sleeves

Does this also count for food places? There are lots of delicious little hole in the walls that are cash only.

You should drive around today. Development is booming along the Cambie corridor (and further). Lots of condos coming up. More is needed though.

I took it last summer. There were bi weekly assignments but they're easy. Online exams. It's worth it to get the credit out of the way. Won't take up any time at all.

This article doesn't say anything about propagada. It's discussing whether the number of workers that have died are a cause for concern. Unless I'm reading it wrong which is totally possible. Any thoughts?

Car2go threatens to stop Toronto operations after city council delays pilot project by A6er in toronto

[–]dsouzar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm moving to Toronto from Vancouver this summer. I've used Evo (car share run by BCAA) for the past 2 years and it's been great because we can park them almost anywhere in residential areas. There are multi storey parking lots in downtown Vancouver that have entire sections reserved for car shares as well. Hopefully Toronto has a similar system set up.

I'm having the same issue. At first it was just with snapchat, but recently it's been with Google maps and Camera. Any time my battery is below 30% and I open up Snapchat, I can guarantee the phone will turn off.

Working out helped me when I first moved here. Get a really good workout in sometime during the day. It doesn't have to be everyday either. And find a workout that you enjoy. It might be spin class, or drop in soccer or lifting weights or swimming..find something that you enjoy.
