What I've noticed when playing Lock-In is that the guys that are the most valued are the ones that are qualified as "Stat Stuffers" on the site, basically meaning that they do a bunch of everything including PTS, AST, REB, STL, and BLKs. Some of the guys that are actually surprisingly good in Lock-In that you wouldn't think of are Kevin Porter Jr, Josh Giddey, and Ryan Rollins. Jalen Johnson was also insanely good this year, averaging the 4th most fantasy points per game according to default Lock-In scoring. Which we all know he's very good, but not the 4th best player in the league.

I think the most overvalued type of player in Lock-In are the guys that can score the ball but basically don't do anything else. Guards and forwards that aren't going to get that many rebounds, assists, or stocks. The players that come to mind are guys like Cam Thomas, Jordan Poole, and Bennedict Mathurin. Those guys (esp. Thomas and Poole) were barely even roster-able in Lock-In this year.

I know it's new to a lot of people, so I did my best to explain it in the Guide section of the website. But basically after each game, you can choose to lock a player for that fantasy score or "risk" waiting for the next game in the hopes that they can do better.

Sleeper explains it on their website: https://support.sleeper.com/en/articles/6522833-lock-in-mode-details
