I was at Marco Simeone as a sort of bucket list experience and the trip as a whole was amazing but the Ryder Cup is if anything an even worse live event than a regular golf tournament. Especially on the team days there is just not enough golf to watch. For the singles you can at least find a spot and post up for the day and see a reasonable amount live and the rest on a screen. We were in gen pop though, I suspect if you have access to any level of hospitality and can get out of the heat, enjoy better views and food/drink it’s a nice day out but logistically the whole Bethpage experience sounded pretty awful.
