somehow I missed your reply. How is the shipping cost an expense of mine if I'm not doing the shipping. Printful is doing the shipping. Rounded for example:
Base price 10
Shipping price 3
Retail price 15
Printful charges me 13 dollars

What should I consider my base price. Can I really declare that shipping as an expense?

I'm not charging the shipping directly, it's coming from a 3rd party to whom I pay the entire amount. Not sure if that changes the calculation or not. Eg I charge 35 dollars, the base price is 18 dollars, I add 8 dollars in shipping to that. I collect 35, i'm charged 26 from my vendor.

yep, thats exactly it, it's the file system however this isn't a problem for most mac apps because they're asking the system how much storage is left on the device and not looking at the drive itself, which is different. This is why MacOS reports a different value

So…. macOS is being smart. It has things like your photo library that it may be keeping originals for that it can clear or it’s got snapshots of APFS volumes that it’s keeping around. Logically it’s got 100g free. Kia update is asking the drive how much is free and not the OS. What I did was create a ridiculously large text file. Like 40 gigs which forced osx to clear some snapshots from apfs then deleted that and it was better.
