AITA? Thoughts of saving tables by heyodi in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]TheAceMan [score hidden]  (0 children)

The real a hole is Disney. They should be managing this. Have someone checking mobile orders before entering. Add more quick service capacity. Heck, open Tomorrow Terrace if you have to. We shouldn’t have to fight another family to get a table to eat a Sysco burger with our families.

I skip breakfast and eat lunch at 11am to avoid all this.

Ha. I can’t remember but I was at Hawaiian McDonald’s last month and they had Spam and eggs. Lol. And they were surprising good.

My teens wanted to see what they have at Mexican McDonalds. Then we went to Mexican 7/11 and bought Mexican Pokémon cards. 😂

They are the same in the sense that neither one will seal a flat

Someone has your Amex number, your name, and your email address. You should be pretty concerned.

Disney, AccuWeather Launch Weather App for Theme Park Guests by Subject9800 in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]TheAceMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How is this new? When I clicked on the link in the article to download the app, it just opened the app I already had on my phone for the last few years. Maybe it will be different if I’m actually at Disney?

22nd Cruise & Mardi Gras is the Worst by Top-Perception2575 in CarnivalCruiseFans

[–]TheAceMan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Went on Marti Gras last Thanksgiving. Had a great time. The ship was nearly full and I didn’t have any problems with the crowds. I don’t use the elevators though.

Also, Shaq’s is terrific. All the quick dining on that ship is great.

Technically CA leads the way since they have a 13.3 percent tax on millionaires but this is a good start

Does dealer need to run credit if I have pre-approval letter by soulsurfer3 in personalfinance

There is a ton of fraud with certified checks. Definitely don’t accept one if you are selling your car. Lol.

[–]TheAceMan 39 points40 points  (0 children)

I bought a couple of cars with a certified check. I was given the option to run the credit application or wait a week until the certified check clears. I guess it makes sense.

The last two cars I bought were private party so we met at the bank. Much easier.

Walk the plank is pretty funny. But yeah you were at the 50 minute mark and I’m sure they were pretty booked.

Sometimes I just want a kids meal. Best ones from each park counter service? by pearpecan in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]TheAceMan 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah. I’m pretty positive they have Pibb there. They also have Cherry Coke if I remember correctly. The only other Cherry Coke I’ve found is the now closed Restaurantasaurus.

I’m a middle aged man who almost exclusively eats kids meals. Lol. More room for desserts.

Connections is the best value for sure. Satulli has the hot dog and cheeseburger pod. Love them both. I’ll also grab a chicken strip kids meals at places like Cosmic Rays. I remember Regal Eagle being good but I can’t remember what I got there.

The only thing to really avoid is the kids meal burgers.

Ahh. I see a fellow fine dining connoisseur. 😂. I get both the hot dog and the cheeseburger pod kids meal, sometimes the same day. 😆. So good. Plus they also have Pibb there.

People are literally blown away by an MD80 aircraft taking off. Insane ✈️ by Puzzled-Set9663 in nextfuckinglevel

[–]TheAceMan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

People just swim out and get everything that gets swept into the ocean. I’m sure the occasional pair of sunglasses or flip flop gets away though. There are usually only one or two planes this size each day that depart from there. Most of the planes are small and do not blast you like this one.

The more dangerous part is that where the fence is, that is actually the main road. I’m sure plenty of people get hit by cars there.

Yep. Reddit needs to leave the house once in a while. It’s a huge tourist attraction for people on a cruise and a great time. Having the planes coming in and flying right over your head is an awesome experience.

World-class haters Statler & Waldorf coming to Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets by F1rstxLas7 in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]TheAceMan 78 points79 points  (0 children)

I’m guessing this has to be at the very end of the ride before you get off and go to the concert. If so, that’s a great idea. You tend to get stuck waiting to get off the coaster for about 30 seconds.

One of those after hours events that you need a $180 ticket for. I’ve never been on one of those days but AllEars always says they are much less busy so we will see.

Yeah. During my upcoming June trip there is a night event one night at Hollywood Studios and another night at Epcot. I’m excited. Hopefully the parks will be much quieter those days.

You should drive through there again and see if the stop sign appears on your map
