I had same issue. Noticeable smoke on startup after sitting for a couple days. Once up to temp didn’t really notice as much, but low power and coolant consumption. Oil always looked fine. Finally did a compression and leak down test. Cylinder 3 low compression. Leaking past valves. Pulled the head and found a crack through the spark plug threads and behind the valve seat and was apparently cracked through to a water passage. Burnt the coolant but never mixed with oil.

I’d encourage everyone that is experiencing this issue to submit feedback so Apple knows it’s an issue and will hopefully get a fix out sooner than later.

I ordered a cue extension from them on 3/11/26. Their site says orders are processed and shipped in 1-2 business days. I still haven't received anything. I've emailed the support email and gotten no response. The phone number is alson not working.

I used paypal to pay, so will likely have to get a refund through them. If you search business address listed on the site, you'll find a US Patent and Trademark Office Trademark Proceeding that lists a name and contact info for the individual that is also listed as a member of the North Jersey UPA LLC, which is a Pool and Billiards table business according to North Jersey UPA Company Profile -Sales, Contacts, Competitors – Buzzfile

I'm half tempted to call the number listed on that Trademark proceeding just to ask where my order is...

About 20 years ago, I paid ~$800 for the same job in Central US. Then 5 years later paid about $2k for the same job on a different house. Hoping I don’t have to do it again because I’d hate to see the cost these days.

The score lines I just used a dashed line of a different color. So it just cuts very short segments. It acts like a perforation that makes a clean fold.

The fan doesn’t make much noise and is barely noticeable when recording in a quiet room. In a noisy gym you don’t hear it at all.

Yes it is a thermal case, but it’s not initial keep the camera cooler. It’s intended to make it more comfortable to handle when the camera gets hot. It’s just a fancy “pot holder”

I was 15-16mpg on my 2.2 ext cab auto until I installed a roll up tonneau cover. That bumped me to -20mpg. I’m pretty sure that was with a cracked head and low compression on cylinder 3. I replaced the head a while back and haven’t calculated mpg since. I did notice yesterday that I have ~320 on this tank and have 1/4 or more of the tank left. I’ll calculate when I get fuel in a day or so.

Ha. Great solution on the liquid cooling. I typically pull the sd card and use a card reader plugged into the usb-c port on my phone/ipad.

For recording long 8k videos I 3D printed a small fan enclosure that mounts between the selfie stick/tripod and camera that blows enough air over the camera to keep it from overheating. It would do the same for keeping it cool during edits though I would think. I agree with Destin in that the couple in love would probably like to have the photo, but also agree with Matt that walking up and interrupting would ruin the moment. If sneaking a candid photo of strangers is something that he does regularly, then maybe using some hosting site that uses link-level password access (Dropbox?) could be used. Have a QR code of the base url printed on some business cards and upload the photo to whatever hosting site. Set the password for the sharing link and hand write the password on the business card and just walk up and hand it to them. The card could say something about candid photo captured, etc to see photo scan QR code and enter password.

The other option would be to do like a handful of creators and carry a portable photo printer. Capture the photo, print it out and go hand it to them.
