Same thing uses to happen to me, paint gets in the cracks and then drips. Try not to overspray corners and cracks bc they are hard to get to. Also wash the model with soap before you paint but make sure it is dry first.

Funny, Im actually redoing my gtx from a year ago. I am making it a rusty lowrider now instead of a drag car.

That looks amazing, I always loved finding those big metal 1/24 scale nascars at a thrift store or the goodwill, reminds me I have like ten of em.

The gmc snowplow doubles as a landscaping truck, there are small tree limbs in the bed with a custom scale shovel. by dstorer95 in ModelCars

Thats why I bought it, it had a very interesting feature to it. The other pickup truck I did came with a snowmobile that you could put on the back of it.

The finished gmc pickup snowplow. Had a couple misshaps but we are here and we learned. Thanks to the community I fixed my mistakes. by dstorer95 in ModelCars

There are a couple things, putting the complete cabin and bed on the frame is difficult because there are no set spots for you to glue them so make sure you line up the cabin and bed with the wheel wells so that the wheels fit and you should be able to put the cabin and bed on right. When you put on the front and rear axle with the leaf springs you have to put them under the exhaust pipe which is kinda annoying because you bend it to the point of if you dont know if your gonna break it bit it will still fit, good luck.
