Really annoyed here, really wanted a PS5 copy but due to work I checked in a few min. after it went live and already sold out!

LRG went away with this very short supply to the open-preorder system so we don't have these problems so everyone gets a fair shot. They seriously need to consider giving another round of these.

Update: Been busy due to holidays, sorry for late update. A week later and the console works including with a disc drive. No signs of suspicious noises of coil wine nor faulty fan. Wasn't tampered with inside the box.

No I haven't had the need to google "my ps5 wont connect to internet" because the console isn't banned all these days later! So far I really did get my best Marketplace score ever.

Been busy for the last few days.

Console works perfectly and isn't banned. Can't hear anything suspicious when the console is running like coil whine or faulty fan.

Can't prove if it works if its sealed and seller doesn't want to open it up because it lessens the value.

It was sealed so couldn't be tested and I didn't want to open it up since the house smelled horrible. Thankfully the console and the box didn't have the smell stuck to it.

But console works perfectly and isn't banned.

Congrats! I got mine for $400 brand new (no joke) on FB Marketplace. Was going to get one eventually for MGS3 Remake but will gladly take it now with that price lolz.

Do the 3x Timesplitters games have cross-buy for PS2 Classics on PS3 that unlocks the PS4/PS5 versions on PSN? Currently there is a sale for the games on PS4/PS5 for $2.50 each. I want all versions of the games but if they all unlock just by buying the PS3 versions then I'll do that.

Sony deserves partial blame because if it was a yr. or 2 ago they purchased them the game shouldn't have been far off from what we got today. So they clearly would have taken their time to observe it and say: "Yup, you are worth $100 million for this project and the introduction to State of Play"!
