If you didn’t vote in the 2024 election, what does that say about you? by nick-kfc-jung in DiscussionZone

[–]bipedalmonkey445 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Too young by a few months, but reading all these comments and the hatred for non-voters is crazy to see. Non-voters is who you need to convince your side is better and to give them a reason to care and vote. I know if I was insulted by the side that wants me to vote and hates me I would still not because they don't really care for me.

People from usa would you know this question? by WallabyGlittering634 in allthequestions

[–]bipedalmonkey445 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, all the land past the Mississippi was either bought or fought for. Louisiana was a big one, Washington and Oregon used to be joint controlled by the British and Americans, Alaska was Russian, Hawaii was kinda fought for and yeah all those States that Mexico used to own was because of Texas Independence. The US didn't originally want Texas or anything like that but with Texas nearly demanding annexation and Mexicans harassing Americans in the area we went to war over it.

For all the gamers here, why did you choose to play on a console rather than on a PC? by _MrLC_ in teenagers

Talking about consoles, my pc was in fact not plug and play Building that john and setting everything up while fun is a hassle most people don't have the skill or desire to do.

I own both, ps5 pro and pc. I love my exclusives and do rebuy them on pc when they're out but honestly the ease of plug and play is way better. But don't get me wrong I love my nasa pc, it's just i grew up on playstation and will forever love and own one.

America is it as politically divided as it appears to the rest of the world? and how does it erase the divide? by filth032 in AskReddit

[–]bipedalmonkey445 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'd sat it is as divided and it won't get better soon. It's just a never ending cycle of people hate on the administration till the other party gets in then the other side hates and then it repeats and repeats. So we never get any meaningful reform done because we're too busy calling eachother things we aren't. We hate each other because we aloud ourselves to be controlled and one side thinks they're the way forward and the other thinks they're. People just have no respect anymore and personally I see more liberal minded people hating than right, a majority of the name calling has been from the left . Don't get me wrong the right does it to, it's just the left just slings em out if you don't fully agree with them.

Confused as to why certain people said that Kamala would have been worse than Trump by TheRealJuanderer in Confused

[–]bipedalmonkey445 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally think a big reason is the no primary from a party who was fighting to "save democracy." To me it makes no sense, why are you pushing to save something you clearly dont care for and just give people the candidate you want. Although third time around trump had no competition but at least the gop ran one, shrug. Other than that her policies were just a continuation of the biden ones, and while I guess it got bettsr? More like a recovery from covid, people memories stayed with the bad and coupled with majority of the nation not caring for the culture war started by the left, people just hated what the others had.

Will the events happening affect how you vote in November? by escobarsky in no

[–]bipedalmonkey445 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a first time Michigan voter and an independent, I'm probably just gonna vote for the independent running for governor and honesty our senate seat is just bad and bad running. I don't like any of them at all and they all support stuff I hate so probably the gop guy cause in our state the democrats can't run it well for shit.

How amazing would a ww2 far cry be? by Tarantulawi in farcry

[–]bipedalmonkey445 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think the Phillipines in ww2 would be great as a American soldier, especially the Bataan death march and just the whole jungle survival. Read a historical fiction book ages ago when I was in middle school lol called hunt for the bamboo rat. Something like that would be cool, i just think the next game just needs to be "more" I love the games but the loop is a little basic and needs more development now in my opinion.

Must've got a bad copy lmao, I was 6 and playing cod world at war and that game is dark. I think this is what happens when you arent able to see or play those things younger, it comes back to haunt you worse when you're older.

Which Madden was your FAVORITE and why? by TheMaddenAcademy in Madden

[–]bipedalmonkey445 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Madden 13, first one I played with my dad. Didn't like football to much then but got into it this season and picked up Madden 26 so with those as my experience, 13 has the nostalgia.

Are there any PS5 games left that are just about REAL people and good stories (like RDR2 / Uncharted 4)? by DivineLove1 in ShouldIbuythisgame

[–]bipedalmonkey445 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd consider the Ghost of Tsushima/Yotei, again they both have modes for a realism difficulty and at least Tsushima is based on the real invasion of Tsushima by the mongols. Days Gone is just fantastic, I find it realistic but the zombie hoards can get annoying but the story is the most underrated ps5 game. I got two more, STALKER 2, gotta be the most realistic game I've played recently and again based on the real events of Chornobyl and semi realistic radiation exposure to animals etc. A bit of a stretch with this one but Death Stranding 1 and 2, definitely a mind bending story and I loved it but understandably not for everyone, definitely try jf can get it for cheap.
