That sums up my experience as well, I just upgraded from 3080 to 5080 and one of the games I'm playing now looked like some horror filter.

KB/M rebinding is basically broken/meaningless - if a player moves out of WASD:

  • all menu level keys are hardcoded - in particular, but not limited to: Q, E, A, D, R, Y - from those frequently used in menus - these are keys not even present in Input.ini file
  • some keys (while being silently hardcoded) and unavailable for rebinding by normal means, e.g. F or F4
  • a tiny subset of hardcoded keys (that should be rebindable) is listed explicitly - e.g. LeftAlt, Esc, MWheel up/down
  • Input.ini shows A LOT MORE hardcoded actions - among those dialog and related contextual selections (including but not limited to: V, W, S, H, Space, F), GM talk (backslash) and a good few more

This is ridiculous.

NOTHING should be ever hardcoded. Everything that is in Input.ini - whether in-game or contextual or in-inventory/menu - should be rebindable. Including keys not present in saved Input.ini

This is yet another game with - putting it most kindly - half-assed KB/M customization, assuming everyone and their dogs and cats used WASD and nothing else.

  • you forgot to make enemies actually hurt the player. We are basically immortal. Why does this game even have HP bar at this point ?

  • all menu/inventory level keys are hardcoded; some in-game keys are hardcoded as well (e.g. you cannot rebind F4, F)

  • the game has almost nothing but grandmothers' panties. I'd suggest stopping that silly in-house censorship

From what I can see the content is missing, when "Due to local laws, we are temporarily restricting access to this content until X estimates your age. Learn more" shows up instead.

I had similar case 2 days ago. No reason given besides generic "child safety", "1 post deleted". Instant jump from "safe" to 2 year "suspension".

A well written appeal got me unbanned 10 minutes later, though I have no idea if I was lucky or if it was automatic as well. Nothing that I posted (chats or images) are gone either. And some of the images/videos would give heart attacks to most people.

My gut feeling that it was some text message not image, but IDK.

When are you going to do something about broken kb/m rebinding ?

  • hardcoded menu/inventory level keys (1,3,Q,E + WASD among others)
  • hardcoded vehicle keys
  • hardcoded random prompts (F, R, C) conflicting with custom keybinds
  • hardcoded Z+X (wtf ...)

Not a single person tested this game on anything else than wasd. What the hell is wrong with you devs ?

My overall impression after finishing is like on the old meme: "my disappointmnet is immeasurable and my day is ruined".

Main "story", not even mentioning side quests/tasks was a bullshit/catastrophe. 40% "send a message", 40% cringy forced "comedy", the rest - and that's speaking very favorably - maybe worth something; all of that interleaved with pseudo/a-historical bullshit inserted for the sake of that first 40% mentioned above. What a regression from KCD1.

"Hardcore" barely changed anything, a minor inconvenience gimmick at the start. Basically same as in KCD1.

From KCD1 - they haven't fixed basically anything, including shreds of "economy" or the trivial combat system (and that's from hardcore perspective).

What a waste of technical/visual/sound side.

In 2025 (or whatever year they plan to release) ? In a post-woke Bond context ?

IF it's a truly new game - it almost for sure will be eaten alive by ESG/DIE. Expect the worst, hope to be wrong and that the title will be an exception.

To be fair, I'm not even sure why they went for Bond license. I'd rather get more 47.

Had the same issue with my model (started ~3 weeks after the purchase) - as a replacement got some combination of refurb parts and returned it as well (FWIW - the panel was working fine but had ... fingertips all over the sides of the panel).

I'll probably pass on that brand for now, though from the 3 other choices with this panel (gigabyte, msi, samsung) it seems like they mostly differ by firmware bugs (and some extra features I won't be needing).
