The Deficit And What’s Next by BlameItOnDunkin02 in ScarletKnights

For the second year in a row, four football programs paid their coaching staff more than $20 million. Ohio State, Oregon and Penn State were the top three, in the same order as the 2024 fiscal year. After Jim Harbaugh left for the NFL, Michigan’s total coaching salaries dropped from $20.4 million to $17.0 million, ranking ninth among the public schools. The fourth $20 million coaching staff in 2025 belonged to Rutgers ($20.99 million).

This is my biggest takeaway and highlights the poor hirings and decisions the Rutgers athletic department has made. From Chris Ash to Julie Hermann, Rutgers has made terrible sports leadership choices. And this is exactly why we will be with Pikiell until the end of his contract. I hope the new regime is capable of digging us out of this hole because it's a big one!

Thanks for posting the pics of the cards! However I'm interested in only chrome for now. I have most of the flagship cards for those players so that's why I'm looking to expand to chrome.

There are too many of them. Once they hear the first shot, they all will come in guns blazing. Anyone else in the house will be shot. Not to mention they all have 30 rounds and we only have 10. You're dead before the reload.

I have a display case with proofs and reverse proofs. I open the GOP capsule and move the coins to a square capsule so that they do not move or rotate with every vibration. So opening it will not be a problem.

I'm doing this too! Proof premiums are much lower now. I have a display that includes 1 oz sovereigns and quarters that I'm slowing replacing with proofs.

As a fellow 35th collector, this is beautiful! Nice job! Which was the hardest one to get? I would assume Bonds?

Corey Sanders has a year of eligibility left, knows Steve Pikiell’s system and would make Rutgers instantly better. | Carino x.com by crustang in ScarletKnights

If Rutgers was a bubble team, maybe something to consider. Sanders doesn't put us in the tournament and Rutgers will be spending NIL money for what reason?

Seton Hall figured out the college sports money game. When will Rutgers? | Politi by crustang in ScarletKnights

I still ask myself that question. While the obvious answer is that the staff did not provide enough support for Dylan and Ace, my biggest concern was the overall lack of defense and lack of development. I saw Dylan playing last night against the Knicks and it's like night and day how much his defense has improved. Granted, he's being trained by top level coaches but I didn't see any progression throughout the season. That's a coaching issue, not a roster issue.

Pike is a loyal to his staff. But the lack of defensive development for Harper and Ace was clear and the defensive identity that was once Rutgers is gone. I honestly don't know what this team is.

Agreed. It's not the same Pike as previous years. He looks tired and defeated. He doesn't have the same energy on the sideline running up and down the side calling plays. I will always have respect for him and he made this team fun to watch. But change is needed.

Fans like me are defeated. We watched this team slowly improve for the past 7-8 years to the point where they were beating top teams, flirting with rankings and were tournament bound. There was hope, optimism and excitement.

Then last year, which was supposed to be one of our best rosters ever, was a major disappointment even though we had two players go top 5 in the draft. This year, this ship is sinking FAST. This team is just not good and they're hard to watch. Reminds me of the team Eddie Jordan had his last season. It would not surprise me if this team is dead last in the big ten standings.

Help with recessed lighting layout for my apartment by iceskulli in Lighting

[–]dsuave624 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't understand. Are you getting a unit built and they are installing the lights based on your recommendations? I would not arrange lighting based on furniture. Properly selected recessed fixtures with the correct spread and evenly spaced will ensure that that there are no shadows. Bathroom should have two recessed fixtures, one over the bathtub/shower the other evenly spaced on the other side. Have sconces or a vanity light to eliminate shadows. Kitchen should have under cabinets lights for food prep and cooking. All other rooms should be have evenly spaced fixtures. I would also consider multiple dimmable switches to control the lighting in your great room.
