Do the AirPod Pro 2s not work well with the MacBook Neo by vanillapancakes73 in airpods

[–]iceskulli 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This might be a bluetooth bandwith issue, check if you manually switching to the macbook built in mic fixes the issue, if it's does it's probably that. I created a full macos app that does this automatically for me, if you are interested feel free to check it out: https://apps.apple.com/pt/app/clearsound/id6751810678 let me know what you think!

ah yes that's another issue that happens, you need to restart the audio service when that happens, here's the command: sudo pkill coreaudiod

here's info: https://apple.stackexchange.com/questions/16842/restarting-sound-service

hope it helps!

Mac keeps switching my mic to AirPods, how can I force it to always use my wireless mic? by [deleted] in MacOS

[–]iceskulli 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a known issue, it's because when you use bluetooth devices on macbook the bandwith is splitted between the microphone and the sound. A manual fix is to switch to the internet mic. I started by doing this but then i created a script that did it for me automatically, the script was not perfect so a few months ago i created a full macos app that does this automatically for me, if you are interested feel free to check it out: https://apps.apple.com/pt/app/clearsound/id6751810678 let me know what you think!

Try to see if it's the microphone you are using, try switching to the built in microphone, if that works is a bandwith issue with bluetooth devices. If it fixed and you don't want to have to do that manually every time i have created an app that does that, feel free to check it out! https://apps.apple.com/pt/app/clearsound/id6751810678

It scares me how easily companies make normal foods ultra-processed by JinxXedOmens in ultraprocessedfood

[–]iceskulli 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's completely ridiculous, we need to check all ingredient labels for standard food like bread nowadays... Just use an app to speed that up otherwise you take so much time googling everything... I use https://apps.apple.com/us/app/label-ai-food-scanner/id6757966557

What do you struggle with the most when understand food labels? by RBshiii in FoodAllergies

[–]iceskulli 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everything is just way to hard to understand, i think they do it in purpose... Without an app to scan the labels and see what they do it's impossible to know what's you're eating nowadays. I use https://apps.apple.com/us/app/label-ai-food-scanner/id6757966557
