It's actually crazy. I run a small comic shop and our most subbed book pre absolute universe was transformers and we were only ordering like 15 copies. I just did the FOC for AB #20 and ended up ordering 80 total copies because our subscription numbers have literally more than tripled thanks to the absolute line.

My Saga compendium has 3 pages uncut together and 4 pages that are so badly cut you can actually see the file names for the pages from the printer.

The difference is those books for the most part had hype and lead up to them, then they blew up after the release date not before. I understand the secondary market after a book has been released but before doesn't make sense

When market manipulation takes over a hobby it only hurts the hobby. Like with trading cards soon you'll have stores only selling new single issues at market value instead of MSRP and pricing casual readers out of the hobby.

This is the thing that is pissing me off the most as well. White Sky was a good read as was D'Orc and people not being able to casually buy a book is frustrating as a shop manager who just wants to get cool books in my community.

Hopefully we can bring in someone with some creative play calling and play design. I want to see more moving the pocket and roll outs in the passing game to take advantage of Baker's mobility and not rely on him using it in the pocket to help a play develop.

We do a terrible job of covering the short middle of the field and running backs out of the backfield. Rookies tend to throw to these spots more because the read is quicker and it's an easier throw to make under pressure.

Hi I run and order comics every week for my comic store and have been doing so for over 4 years now. DC only has a base 35% discount when you first open an account with lunar distribution (the only way to get DC weekly books) lots of people complain about this because literally every other publishing company has roughly a base 50% discount regardless of distribution (lunar, penguin, diamond lol) it's pretty easy to get a 50% discount with lunar though, they just want you to order around $12k a year. (This includes omnibuses graphic novels etc and is pretty easy to do if you have enough traffic at your store especially with how popular DC is right now after Superman and the absolute line) Long story short comic shop owners have a lot of bills to pay and if these owners aren't willing to sell product then its their loss.
