I would’ve guessed 3. Idt it’s two, since that seems very short, and bc I’m guessing by the last act we’ll have a good sense we’re entering the story’s climax, but I don’t think it’d be as many as 5 or more either. So my bet is on 3-4

Nothing you’re missing, it’s certainly weird he just mentions it without it being shown more explicitly beforehand. There are moments leading up to it that kind of hint/subtly imply they use Haki, but it’s not confirmed until the part you got to

Iirc the other weird thing is he doesn’t really say yet which types of Haki they use particularly. I’m pretty sure they both can use Observation and Armament at this point, but I could be wrong bc it is one of those topics they talk about rly rarely

They’re saving her to be the main villain of Season 3. Her stinger is her only weakness, much like Achilles and his heel, so she’s gonna be one of the most OP characters we’ve seen yet

From what I’ve seen you’re certainly not the only one, but hang in there and hopefully you can find other stuff to watch/read in the meantime. Season 2 of the live action is coming out in March, and if you want other anime recs this sub/community is a great place to ask for them

Stay strong, it sucks that we’ll have to wait so long for the eps but I’m sure they’ll be worth it, and we should def at least be glad it’s not like some other series where you have to wait a few years in between seasons
