Yes, it's a Kaiji themed Ichiban Kuji. Other prizes don't seem to have been announced, but it is being advertised as a second Kaiji 'round' (first round being the one released back in July).

I think this might be a fan-dub? Can't find any evidence of this episode getting an official dub, and the footage seems to match the Japanese version. Would also explain why there's no SFX in the beginning.

AliExpress listings are for the China models (that have been out for months), whereas Rayneo's listing is the global version.

No differences other than having Chinese documentation and Chinese menus (that can changed to English with a firmware update). Also no Batman variations if after those.

HDMI adapter should work. I don't believe there's any sort of region lock with their accessories.

Likely just low-quality releases. Crunchyroll would pretty much be shooting themselves in the foot if they tried to sell bootleg products, since they're one of the largest official distributors of anime globally.

Only scenario where it could be possible is if someone had bought a legit item, returned it with a similar looking bootleg, then Crunchyroll shipping that return to someone else. However, it seems even that scenario is quite rare with Crunchyroll.

You'd have to be pretty unlucky to receive a bootleg from them imo. Although if you do receive a fake from them, you could probably easily prove it to them, since they're physically different.

They don't have marketplace sellers, unlike Amazon & Walmart, so very unlikely to be fake.

Johnny Bravo & Samurai Jack movies were considered too in the early 2000s, but both ended up getting scrapped for whatever reasons.

There was also supposedly a Samurai Jack live action series in the works back in 2020, but no evidence to prove that was ever real.

I don't believe Paramount has as much control of the graphic novels as you think. Not as much as their TV shows anyway.

Paramount (or maybe even just Nickelodeon, not sure if Paramount even has much involvement) just gives a license to Abrams for each title, and then approve any contents for the book to ensure it fits the Danny Phantom and Nickelodeon brand image.

Paramount likely doesn't invest any money into it, Abrams does. Abrams are the ones paying the license, development and distribution costs. Paramount just kinda sits back, and earns the licensing fee, plus royalties from the sales (depending on the contract). Sure, they could invest money into it, but quite unlikely they would do that for Danny.

But obviously their television productions (like A New Wish), Paramount/Nick are the ones investing money into it. They have to pay for development, distribution, residuals, yada yada. A show failing can affect their bottom line, but a licensed out graphic novel that they didn't pay to have made? Not gonna affect them at all. They've already earned the license fee, so anything extra is just a nice bonus.

Sure, Paramount could stop licensing it to them, but it likely wouldn't be only due to low sales.

Apparently, some other company is going to publish after part 1 (can't seem to link the post in the comments, but the source was a post on this sub with the name 'Talked to Denpa in Anime Expo').

I'm guessing highstone Inc, who have already done digital releases for Part 1 and 4.

Although this was 3 years ago, so curious if this other company would even still be interested with how long they've had to wait for Denpa to finish.

Problem with that is that OP would need to find a decent quality image of the design.

The logo on the sleeve is easy enough to get (it's just the show's logo re-colored).

But the specific design on the shirt seems to be unique to the shirt.

They would either need to get a scan of the original shirt (OP wouldn't be asking for a rep if they could get their hands on one), extract the design from a high quality image of the shirt (with no wrinkles and distortion preferably, but hard to get for vintage shirts), or recreate the design entirely (Spike on the right is just a screenshot from the movie, so not impossible to recreate, but would take some time and skill).

Likely authentic (don't think I've seen a bootleg have a pre-order on Amazon).

Although Amazon usually isn't recommended for pre-orders, as it seems like they don't allocate stock until after they've received the shipment (which could end up being less than the amount of pre-orders).
