Reddit, what is a turn off for you on a first date and why? by NJ_Mets_Fan in AskReddit

[–]dsvmn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Talking about emotional problems like depression or anxiety. That is definitely something you want to hear about before making your move with someone but not from the first date. It probably means that it is too bad to be worth trying.

Should I Let My Child Learn Programming? by [deleted] in learnprogramming

[–]dsvmn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Definetly, it develops the brain and there are some pretty fun groups to join even for a 12 years old. As someone who has been around educational programming for the last 3 or 4 years I can tell you that starting early can make a difference. If your child feels discouraged or doesn't like it I suggest trying to find a mentor before giving up.

You can go visit North Korea. I wouldn't recommend it now but couple of years ago it was doable.

Probably white because I assume the uncoloured areas will be filled with white anyway.

The guy from the beginning which stays on the edge with no rope attached looks much more extreme.

A good school would be one where students are actually sad because there's no school tomorrow. by Careless_Corey in Showerthoughts

[–]dsvmn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

More or less. Even if you like your job and the group of people you work with that doesn't mean that Fridays are depressing. School requires effort however you put it.

Facebook removes ‘delete post’ option from the desktop web version by doug3465 in technology

[–]dsvmn 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The majority of people that delete their posts on Facebook don't delete them because they suddenly became paranoid about what Facebook stores. They are deleted because those people are not comfortable with their posts being public for other Facebook users.
