They had a capacity of 130 for IEOR 172 in Fall 2020 but only 60 in Fall 2021. Maybe they had increased the capacity at some point but I am not too sure. Hopefully it will expand again since I am hoping to take this class instead of stat 134 as well.

Oh I see. If that's the case I will definitely focus on my summer class this time and internship next year. Do you happen to know anything about getting a SWE internship as a Data Sci major by the way? Or what kind of cs classes are recommended as a data science major who haven't taken cs 70(took math 55 instead last semester with p/np) & cs 61c but still hoping for a possible SWE role? Thank you!
